- The struggle has been real. The weather has created havoc on our want to get these beans cut!
Cut? No! Cut? Maybe. Cut? Yes, but only for a little while.
At least I was able to attend some things that I didn’t think was possible. And that’s a blessing!!

another wonderful days work harvesting Tracy and do not see much of Jim when you working fall harvest wish him well and tell him we missing him getting in there and fixing things
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
Hello from central Iowa. Your channel was suggested to me as I watch about six farming channels. I use the signature of the Iowa farm boy in my comments. Did some family farming in the 60-70-80 timeframe. Too many that wanted to farm and not enough land. Farm crisis of the 80’s pushed me off the farm. Went on to a career in the Air Force, retired and now enjoy the farming channels. Love your Nebraska, stationed at Offutt for many years. Birthday number 80 coming soon. Just thought you deserved to know who your new viewer is.
Looking forward to getting acquainted with you and your channel. Enjoyed this first one and was impressed by the easy going manners of your farming operation. Usually takes a few videos to get acquainted with you and your operation. Enjoyed the first one so let’s continue on for now. Bean harvesting has been tough all over this year so you are not alone there. My channels are in Minnesota and Iowa and Ohio and South Dakota. You are my second Nebraska channel.
Thanks for everything this first time around. Nice to meet all of you. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
My family moved to Papillion in 1967 because my dad worked in the underground at Offutt. He worked crazy hours most of our growing up years. Thanks for your service!!!

Tracy and Jim, there's no place like Nebraska, between good weather and those sunsets u folks are blessed in alot of ways. By the way loved the chatter with Lee and u .😊
Yes, we truly are blessed beyond measure!
Good video good to see y'all
Thank you!
Good music today
Why thank you!
That is one great thing being a farmer get to see a lot of beautiful sunrises and a lot of beautiful sunsets. Thanks Tracy you’re a wonderful gal.
Hey, if u break it. U fix it!!😂
🤣
Harvest is pretty this time of the year. Enjoyed the video and will watch you all soon!❤
I agree. It’s the next season I dread the most.
👍👍great video no gps worked on that day here either we got done with Milo today on the 19th now back to corn tomorrow 😀
Interesting…
I'm telling ya bean harvest has been tuff everywhere this year. We had a hard time getting them up here Oklahoma.
I’ve heard this!!!
You have to do what you can when you can. Mother nature rules supreme.
You’re absolutely right!
thank you, see ya tomorrow!!!!
😉
Those trees thst had yellow at the top were beautiful. Sounds like typical farming weather with rain and sun.
The trees are really beautiful here right now. Another week and the leaves will be falling.
That is one great thing about being a farmer great sunrises and great sunsets seen very❤ many over my last 71 years.
Those are the very best part of the day - and job!
@@ZeorianHarvestingTrucking Tracy you really are a very special woman, watching and listening to you actually brings a tear to my eye.
@@frankwiedmeyer426 - ohhhh gosh! I’m not any more special than anyone else. Just enjoy the job that I get to do. But thank you for your very kind words!
Beautiful yellow trees! And what's with the photos of fields and sunsets? Breathtaking on the computer and I can't imagine what it's like in real life. Tracy, I do hope you are getting some of these photos placed in albums!
The sunsets are my most favorite shots of the day!
Looks like a typical Fall harvest season. Breakdowns and Mother Nature as normal for a fall harvest . Nothing a farmer and great help can’t handle. Looking forward to bothering next chapter of Fall Harvest 2023. Cya
👍🏻❤️
Good to see you folks again.
Another awesome video.
" AMER1CA "
Thank you!
Great job Traci & Jim
Keep plugging away at the harvest!
Thank you! Will do!
Mother Nature sure has been strange this year, the bean fields your in look good 👍✌🏻🇺🇸
The beans have been excellent. Which was a surprise because of the drought early in this spring. Guess they got rains when it was needed most.
You know I love your videos thanks 🙏🙏 you and Jim have a great day 💛💛💛💛😎
I’m so glad!
Thank you!!
NICE WE LOVE IT
❤️
Really enjoyed this Trip ! Your Video’s are great! Thank You very much!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind words!
That last field looked like some good yields, some farmers put the corn head on while the beans dry out.
Yes, we considered that. But the corn head was about 10 miles away and not on a trailer so we opted to just get the beans done first.
Great video, really great you were able to watch the game and see the kids! Greetings, Marco
I was so thankful that I was able to be with them all!
I have to say Lee has interesting fields with the terraces and hills and trees and shapes
That’s for sure! Did you watch today’s video with the drone footage?
You're right about the seasons changing and not liking it. I like fall weather but don't like knowing that winter is almost here. I heard sandhill cranes headed south for the first time tonight so change is on the way. 😥
I dislike winter so very much!
If you had a imperfect day, it would not be farming there’s always something going on in farming keep your chin up
You’re right. Thanks for the encouragement!
I really expected the title of this content to be "What a week it's Bean..."
I wish I would have thought of that!!!!!! 😊
@@ZeorianHarvestingTrucking maybe next year? lol
@@zfactortedzabel9267 yes! (If I remember) 🤣
Pretty fall colors
Agree!
Awesome video tracy 👍👍👍
Thank you so much!
I’ve been wondering about you. Glad to know you’re still in the saddle. We’ve been hammering down on beans when we can, and if we have to switch over to corn we just do it. We’re down to 80 of beans left to cut and over half way on corn. This corn has really dried down so that’s a blessing. We got knocked out for today with some showers, but tomorrow we’ll be back at it. Stay safe and keep sending the videos.
Glad to hear your harvest is moving along so nicely! You’re just about done.
Very good Video 👍 👍
❤️
Good video
Thank you!
Thank you for another good video. In the mean time my 80 acres of dryland corn was cut in NW Kansas. It was amazing what a little rain at the right time can do. While some fields only a mile from my field yielded between 50 to 60 bu., there had been a few showers that came over my field through the summer. No big amounts, but it yielded 117 bu. For NW Kansas that is an exceptional yield, given the drought conditions that persist there. What are the yields in corn in eastern NE? AFG
I’m glad your corn did that well! Crazy how the rains must have been so sketchy for so many different segments of the country. We haven’t started cutting any corn yet. But will very soon. It’s pretty typical to cut 200bpa corn here.
Hello Tracy 🌧️🤦♂️😬🇮🇹
HOWDY!! 😊
Maybe you have addressed this already but what is the difference between a macDon header & one from the combine manufacturer? I like your video's.
That’s a good question. When we moved away from the old auger style headers, we bought the MacDon. At that time, that was the only style head with a Draper belt. Since then, other manufacturers have also began using the belted technology (which isn’t new. Look at some of the VERY old headers) The Draper head feeds the grain so nicely into the feeder house. And it floats on the ground for the beans.
Has Jim started wearing his new boots yet?
Not yet
Newholland combine ❤❤❤
1000%
I am too
You are too?
what do I see at 5:20, a keeshound?
I’m not sure what breed of dog that is. You might be exactly right.
Is Lee your son
No. He’s a friend. He and his dad (when he was alive) hired me to run their combine six years ago.
I like your video,s
Greatz from Holland
I’m so glad you do! And all the way from Holland - COOL!
