I am running a crower nitrous cam that i have had for years, hyd roller. 232/240 duration, .545" lift. Edelbrock RPM heads that have been cleaned up , victor jr intake and a holley 750 dp with a proform mainbody. .100 shot of nitrous.. I drive the car 80 miles round trip to my local track, full interior.
Yeah, with your cam it sounds like you need a looser converter. Yeah I almost always run with the cutouts open, tried driving it with them closed, and with a helmet on I couldnt hear the car as well, really messed up my shift points. I forgot to mention that I added comp cams short travel hyd lifters over the winter, whether its coincidence or not I gained approx. 1.5 mphs this year
Nice, Its great to hear of other people racing old fastbacks. I normally 60 foot in the 1.5-1.6 range, so yeah, get your 60 ft times down and you will be right there, foot brake or transbrake?
