Our hotshot fire fighting crew had a Turbo Porter for one season (summer 1966) in central Idaho. It was amazing the places it could get us into. On one fire we landed in a backcountry meadow, then a helicopter took us the rest of the way to the fire. After the fire was out we hiked up to a lookout tower and were picked up by a helicopter, then we flew out of a backcountry airport in a DC3.

Why is this video using a robo voice (computer generated audio) for all of the audio? I can see it for the in-flight weather report on the flight radio, because that really is how the flight weather broadcasts are transmitted. But for the pilot? Surely, a robot is not flying this plane. So, how much of this video (and therefor how much of "simskytravel" is real and how much if fake (computer generated trash)?
