I thought the Porter was made by Helio like the courier I remember Porter's on floats in Alaska I always drooled over them. That and the beavers and Otters on floats especially the turbo beaver dammm we had Cessna 185 and 206 on floats and a 207 on wheels the second year

Hey viewers. This whole thing is a flight simulator. Why are we watching this crap?
Why is this video using a robo voice (computer generated audio) for all of the audio? I can see it for the in-flight weather report on the flight radio, because that really is how the flight weather broadcasts are transmitted. But for the pilot? Surely, a robot is not flying this plane. So, how much of this video (and therefor how much of "simskytravel" is real and how much if fake (computer generated trash)?
Our hotshot fire fighting crew had a Turbo Porter for one season (summer 1966) in central Idaho. It was amazing the places it could get us into. On one fire we landed in a backcountry meadow, then a helicopter took us the rest of the way to the fire. After the fire was out we hiked up to a lookout tower and were picked up by a helicopter, then we flew out of a backcountry airport in a DC3.
Oh. I get it. The whole thing is fake. It is a computer game presentation.
I think you should buy the Blackbirds Simulation PC-6! better sound and better control.

Wow, that guy is way off course, Time Air was an Alberta Canada airline from the 70s. I used to fly on a plane just like that from Calgary to Lethbridge. 🙂

Looks realistic. I remember riding this type of aircraft back in the tropical mountains of Laos.
Yep, Pilatus PC-6 turbo porter airplanes were widely use most around the world, especially in Laos dropping rice from the sky in the remote village in Laos during VNW. STOL airplane.

When I worked in Sayabuli there was daily flihgt connection with Vientiane. A couple years after it was finished. Is there a flight line again in 2023 ? Kone Breton

Very well done video, but alas, I found the music to be an unwelcome distraction from the lovely overall visual impact. For me, the predominant sound should be that of the engine, with *perhaps* the music played (very) faintly in the background. Thank you for opening my eyes to the excellent possibilities for MSFS in this part of the world !!
