Doesn’t matter what you’re making….I’m watching! As an aspiring woodworker and furniture refinisher, I love your videos and find them so easy to follow and learn from! Thank you!!
Omg yes, when I have the funds I’ll make everything she makes and buy every plan… like a magazine subscription every month haha if your into this type of woodworking check out getting a track saw, it’s my favourite thing to use
Petting the animals is a crucial step in the creative process 🤣 never skip that part haha. You’re so kind. Thank you for watching and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Same! I was thinking “what have I done?!” But I had to trust the process. It looks so much better in person. The lighting in the hallway didn’t translate well to camera 🤦🏼♀️🙈 operator error (it’s me…I’m the operator haha)
Shara, I taught Plane Geometry for a few years and I know that I'd be thrilled if I saw one of my students on TH-cam telling the world that she remembered the Pythagorean theorem. I hope that your teacher watches your channel. I love the cabinet. Using the butcher block was a pure stroke of genius and adding the crown molding gave the project a touch of genuine class. Thanks for the video.
Very nice mudroom Shara! I always enjoy seeing how you use plywood in your projects. Plus, you had a lot of supervision from Lucy and Bubby! Lol…. Thank you for another great build! Have a nice weekend!
Bubby and Lou were great motivation throughout this project. I kept having to distract Bubs to keep him from rubbing in the cabinets with wet paint 🙈🤣 there’s pet hair somewhere in this paint job I’m sure haha. I hope you have a great weekend as well and I really appreciate you watching!
Can I just second that on the previous comment!!? 😊 It looks great and I will watch and learn from every project you do!! I really appreciate everything that you share, so a great big thank you to you!!
I’ve been watching you for about a year now, and I’m finally at the point in my remodel to start building some cabinets! Thank you so much for your content and making me very confident that I can, “Get Building!” 😊
Another great project and perfectly executed. Must do something like this soon. Already got the tools ..... the only thing what's missing is a visit to a pet shop and get me a cat 🙂. Btw. Like the color you used too. Keep those projects coming ..... I love them Shara .... have a nice weekend and greetings from a cloudy and rainy Netherlands.
A shop cat is a huge asset. They calm your nerves when things get chaotic haha. I appreciate you watching and glad to hear you enjoy them. Happy building and have a great weekend!
Shara you brought the guns out for this one! 😄💪🏾💪🏾This mudroom cabinet turned out great! It looked like it was a very tedious project but you rocked it. The soft close cabinet doors is also a nice touch. Well done as always🤙🏾💯
Love the contrast between the butcherblock and the painted cabinets, the smaller shelf up top looks wonderful as well! You do wonderful work, and I don't feel like being pushed to buy festool products lol.
Thank you so much! We are already finding this bench seat super handy for putting in shoes heading out the door. So happy I finally decided to build this!
Best wood working videos i have seen by far, stopped by to see your other video on building cupboard doors , really enjoying your content , and your style of instruction is very well presented, thanks so much for posting!!
Love the overall idea and how it turned out. Also liked the novel way to use the plywood to support the top cabinet during installation, I wouldn't have thought of that.
Don’t jinx it! 🙈🤣 I’m just kidding. Hopefully I’ll be at 200k soon. But if not, I’m still ecstatic with 199k. It honestly blows my mind. I appreciate you following along and hope you have a great weekend!
I watched a few of your videos and builds. This one, while simplistic in design, adds some style to what otherwise would be just another box build design. Nice addition and with the crown molding, it doesn't have a boxy feel... Thumbs Up!
Suggestion for a future woodshop video would be a French cleat wall system made entirely out of plywood. I use plywood scraps as much as possible, too. French cleats are a very good, economical solution for woodshop, garage and other types of shop storage.
As a detail oriented person~~I can't thank you enough for adding in the list all the tools and how to links! It's a time saver and makes for a much more enjoyable build, especially when I don't know how to do a step properly ;)
Evergreen fog is such a beautiful color! I love it in my bedroom right now. I've been debating using it on some furniture so this project might be a winner for it in my patio room
I wish my son and you could meet and share ideas . He bought a small older house and has done a ton of work much like you have done. His projects never seem to end. 😮
I tell you what, if anybody thinks that you can't build high-end-looking furniture out of everyday materials and supplies, they've just never watched a Woodshop Diaries production! This was a lot of effort crammed into 17 minutes of clips and soundbites, and it turned out wonderfully. This installation is both decorative and highly functional. And come on, now... were the doors really that bad ?? 😊 Next thing you know, we'll have you doing the whole raised-panel thing! (Hey, you busted out the router on these...) Lookit that subscriber count (199K on 7/22/23) - 200K for sure by next week!
Looks great. I have a hallway between our kitchen and laundry room. Then the laundry room goes to our family room. So it's not in a good place for a "mudroom". I thought about doing something very similar to this. I want to use two tall cabinets on either end. One to store our brooms and mops and the other I want adjustable shelves to store away large kitchen items like crock pots and blenders. For the middle section i wanted to have a thin counter and storage underneath and cabinets on the top like you have for more storage. Plus an area between that has a white board of some sort. We have the white board there now and use it to add chores for the kids. And for everyone in the house to add items to the grocery list. As well as a calendar. This mudroom you built gives me lots of ideas to work from
This turned out fantastic! Love the design and color. It will be such a useful addition to your mudroom, especially in winter when you need a place to hang heavy coats/gloves and boots. Always enjoy seeing Lucy and Bubby out helping you with everything!
Shara, I love this project. Ever since I completed my Home Office I've become a fan of "Built-In's." I still have plenty to learn and watching your channel as you may know has carried me a long way. You make it look so simple and certainly thinking and building it in modules is a great help. Of course you had Lucy there to supervise. Great job Lucy! I just had cataract surgery and it has been hot here so I've been slowed down a bit but your inspiring me to get my shop a bit more straighten and get to building again. Great job! Thanks for Sharing!
Really beautiful work, Shara! It turned out great! 😃 One idea for the back wall: a big mirror with a brass frame. 😊 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I had the same peoblem building 8 foot tall cabinets. One option is build it in 2 pieces top and bottom cabinet. Another that i found out the hard way is from the top front corner using a tape measure to the bottom and back piece. Cut a diagonal line roughly the height of a toe kick and tipping the whole cabinet upwards is easy.
Doesn’t matter what you’re making….I’m watching! As an aspiring woodworker and furniture refinisher, I love your videos and find them so easy to follow and learn from! Thank you!!
I really appreciate that. You made my day 💕 so happy to hear you enjoy the videos and find them helpful! You got this, friend, I’m sure of it! 🙌

This woman is a machine. Every time I click on TH-cam she's completed yet another project
Shara, the way you made this video to show the steps gave me the confidence to start trying to build stuff. Thanks for making and sharing this video!
You never cease to impress me with your designs and build quality.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching and hope you have a great weekend!
ALWAYS remember to stop and pet the animals ❤️😄

@@WoodshopDiaries merci beaucoup 😊
Whenever you build projects like these I see value added. The style an color are beautiful.
Thank you so much! This space is definitely way more functional 😁 I appreciate you watching and hope you have a great weekend!
That really turned out great! I really like that green, but when it was wet.....I was not so sure 😅

Thanks for the video.
Really appreciate that your builds are practical, doable, and affordable. And yeah, I hate the painting part too :)
I’m glad you enjoy the projects! I always aim to keep things as simple as possible 😉 thanks so much for watching and have a wonderful weekend!
Looks great. Everything you make is well done.

When a woman teach, we ladies learn. Thanks for a much detailed video ✨️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✨️
I always gravitate to your videos..gives me confidence to start on my own. Now I just have to buy a new house with a mud room so I can build this!!! 😂
Shara, excellent build! Really appreciate your hard work and dedication.
Very nice design. I do like your design sense, it's refreshing.
Can I just second that on the previous comment!!? 😊 It looks great and I will watch and learn from every project you do!! I really appreciate everything that you share, so a great big thank you to you!!
Such a great look!!
Thank you! I’m excited to finally check this project off the to do list! 🙌
It looks really amazing.
Thank you so much! We are excited to put it to good use!
I love the mudroom cabinet build. That color is perfect.

@@WoodshopDiaries Wish I knew this earlier (cats calm your nerves). It would have helped still having a 28 year old daughter still having at home 🙂

Incredible video and exactly what I needed to inspire and get me started on my mudroom! Thanks!
This looks great! Love watching you start from scratch and working your way through it.
So glad you enjoy the projects and my chaotic way of throwing them together haha. Thank you so much for watching and have a wonderful weekend!
That's Awesome Shara!!
Thank you so much! 🙌 I hope you have a great weekend!
@@WoodshopDiaries You're welcome. And I'm so glad you decided to keep the project and share with us. You have a great weekend as well. 🥰

Very classy looking and also very useful for a mudroom. Great work Shara.
Thanks so much! It’s already getting put to pretty good use 🙌
Man. You make me want to try building something, start simple you know.
I say go for it!! The best way to learn is to do 😉🙌
Thank you for showing great projects. The crown molding at the end was a very nice touch. I don't like painting, either!
Excellent build!. I’ve been really wanting to see you do French cleats to hang up cabinets on the walls. They are extremely strong.
A very nice addition to your mud room. The color is perfect and the design is perfect for your needs.

Dear Shara ,I really appreciate your work and teachings, I'm so happy that I found your channel,God Bless you young girl
Beautiful job shara! Well done young lady..(cabinet maker for 40 years)
Thank you for sharing the entire process. I’m trying to build something similar to fit my very long but very narrow mudroom. Keep up the good work
Awesome job Shara, as usual. You're not quite there but you will be by the next time you post so, congratulations on 200K subs.

Wow I love what ever you do🙏because you explain clearly and easy to follow your instruction keep it up I’m following you
