Thank you for showing every step in this maintenance. It really helps to be brave and go for replace piece broken or loose. My question: what about the felt belt that goes to seal the drum?, is something replaceable?, thanks!
It will depend on the Manufacturer. All Parts are Replaceable, but only Some Parts Would be Available. You will have to check with your model number to see if yours is available.
You did an awesome job on this video. I was able to complete the maintenance, changing out the wheels, belt, bearings and cleaned up the dryer inside/out. Looks and works like a new.
I removed my drum and forgot to notice what way it came out originally! Does it matter what end goes in first? Each end looks pretty much the same! Thank you in advance for any assistance you can guide me with!
Hi, I have the same dryer purchased from someone and the when tumbling it’s loud. I followed your video, all wheels look ok, but one doesn’t turn as freely. Could that be the problem? Thank you!
Hi, I don't do paypal or venmo. Let me know when you get Patreon. I can do that to tip you for helping me. Meanwhile... I have another lead on a washer that I need purchasing advice on: "maytag bravos washer" - Seller wrote (on Craigslist)... - "Washer needs to be fixed, possible to reset codes I just don’t care to figure it out. $50 OBO." What do you recommend my friend? Should I buy it? Thanks, Tom
Had a guy come out and clean the lent trap from outside . I guess he used a vacuum to suck all the lent out and after he was done the dryer started making a very loud noise. I didn’t do that before he cleaned the lent .
Hello my new content creator friend. I'm considering buying and re-selling a Craigslist - Samsung Washer. Here is what the seller is saying: - - "Samsung washer good shape 5 years old runs good , NEEDS SHOCKS, but runs good $ 75.00" - - What do you recommend? Thanks, Tom
@@DIYRepairsNow - Thanks, Yes it is a top load. I offered him $45. If he declined, then I will try $60. I find that craigslist sellers are usually willing to come down about 15%, but you never know until you ask. : ) - Example, I just bought a working GE Dryer for $25. - The front of the drum - plastic shroud thing - is probably worn to metal. Hello, If it’s a front load, don’t buy it if it’s a top load, you can replace the shocks for cheap
