I would love to see an expansion pack that is inspired by some new york houses, like brownstone style houses. I would also love to see them colab with HeyHarrie and Felixandre, Like what they did with the colab with Peacemaker a little while ago.
I am always there for new world but kind of wished they would have incorporated the individual loft kind into an actual fitting world and an actual pack.
I love your Scandinavian houses!! I live in Canada and our architecture is quite similar to American so I like seeing how it is in other parts of the world. Imagine how boring the world would be if we were all the same. Toddler rooMs are tough in real life. I think parents either go way overboard decorating with specific themes or they end up a mishmash of colour and clutter. As long as there’s a bed, dresser, and toys, you’re good!
i would love an African pack, even if it’s just a game pack. It would also fit right in with maxis trying to make the sims more diverse and then adding more cultures into the game.
I really appreciate you pointing out the detail about the Country Kitchen kit. The SimGurus don’t make it a secret how these things are decided and what kind of limitations they have to work within, so if people really wanted to understand it, rather than just complain, they could!
Well... the whole country kitchen kit release and kid introduction came to a improper time. With cottage living being released so near after I would have rather seen it to be incorporated into cottage living. Especially with the new cooking together gameplay having an extra kitchen set would have suited cottage living perfectly. A lot of releases are questionable and having consumers complain about the country kitchen kit in this context is quite understandable and was predetermined in my eyes.
@@kolli7150 if they’d kept the Country Kitchen items for Cottage Living, then it would have taken the place of the set of counters we got from that pack and there would be fewer options. I don’t have a problem with them releasing extra items so long as they keep them at a lower price point. It gives more options to people who can’t afford expansions, game, or stuff packs. I do get your point about timing and agree that it’s in their best interest to market things in a way that doesn’t feel exploitative.

In other expansion packs we've got much more build buy items compared to cottage living, often even 2 furniture styles... there was not not enough room in cottage living to incorporate extra items, they have just decided not to use the room and instead charge extra for an admittedly lovely kitchen set. 🤷🏼♀️ I am not a fan of kits at all and wished they never started them in the first place. Compared to what you get with kits, the price is actually very expensive in my point of view. I rather save money for a well made game pack for example and purchase a game pack instead of 4 kits. But maybe that's just me... in addition, the seemingly more expensive packs are having discounts half a year after releasing. Kits have not so far as far as I am aware. So oftentimes you can get a whole expansion pack for the price of 4 kits. So I would never recommend buying kits instead of the other packs to save money.
What pack do I think we are getting next... well. To be honest I feel like the team or EA or whoever is in charge to decide about those things missed plenty of opportunities to incorporate some more new features in the recent packs. For example cottage living would have been the perfect pack to have bed and breakfasts added to the game as well as fairies (I mean , if I think of fairies and fairytales I always imagine the British islands...). Obviously, we did not get fairies in cottage living so instead I do hope them to be a part of a realm of magic refreshing. The same hope (please let me have my hopes) I have when it comes to werewolves - I want them to be a part of a vampires game pack refresh in a neighbourhood story kind of rivalry/ romeo and juliet kind of context. I much enjoyed the spa day refresh and think this was one of the best additions to the game lately (I also appreciate they didn't decide to make making nail polish to a gameplay kit and charge all of us extra for the feature). Moreover, I expected to have bands incorporated in the my wedding stories game pack as well as wine/nectar yards (I miss them so so much as they added a Mediterranean world....).... I still believe those additions would have made the pack much more worth buying (keeping the bugs aside...). For some reason I see the whole future theme more as game pack material unless they decide to incorporate a future world (hopefully in cyber punk aesthetic) as well as a middle ages world (more off the grid living) - that would definitely be more like an expansion pack. But above of all I expect to get either a generations themed expansion pack (please with a for the longest time desired general update for babies ) or a hotel expansion pack (hopefully with a world similar to Mt. Komorebi with different climates: the snowy mountains as well as a beachy area) but then again we already have skiing and snowboarding as well as hiking and jet skis so I am unsure about how the new world is going look alike when hotels come to the game. But on the other hand they do never get tired to incorporate already existing gameplay features to new packs (tents from outdoor retreat into snowy escape, dancefloors from get together + buffet tables from luxury party into my wedding stories) so maybe my guessing is not that far away from the more possible range of probabilities.

Hi Aveline, I like your building videos a lot so I want to say one thing that bothers me. I hope I won't be misunderstood because I just want to express myself not disrespect you or anyone. I don't know if it's just me or anyone agrees with me but changing the colors over and over and trying some stuff and turn them back the way they were in the beginning sometimes make your videos hard to watch. Keeping that parts in the video is your choice of course, but it can be really annoying for me personally.

They actually did collaborate with HeyHarrie. They made some chairs and a dining table.

It's a part of a good old regular design process and that's the method I use 😊
