people always say captains videos are the best/most thorough on his comments but they are wrong. great job. cd is good but i appreciate the more about details than camera angles style here even if it means a 45 minute video.
Like # 391!!! Been trying to talk my friend into getting this!! He keeps asking to use one of my f.p.v. drones but I keep telling him my remote was 100$ and my goggles a few hundred and the drone is at least 100$. So I keep telling him for the price of my Qx7 he can get everything needed to start f.p.v.!!! Wish this was out when I started would have saved me the 290$ I spent on a RTF Grasshopper F-210 that came with no goggles and would tilt left mid flight and smack into my house or get lost. After time about 50 feet up it tilted left into the woods and I never found it.That was my 1st fpv quad and what a bad experience!!! But now with my Qx7 and fat sharks im loving it!!! Just need to learn Acro and ill be very happy!!! Great Review And Great Flying brother!!!!!!!
A shame it came with only 1 antenna & 1 battery. Since I went thru a lot of different goggles before winding up with my FXT Vipers, I have lots of those screw on monopole antennas (or you can get replacements, or better - 5 dbi , 7dbi or 9dbi gain - on eBay). I have a great little charger by EV-Peak, which can charge all those 1S Lipos, even HVs. It covers all the various connectors, including the PH 2.0 on that battery (up to 4 batteries at a time). Also, even though the battery is listed as HV, if you only charge them to the regular 4.2v, they will last longer. The main thing is to NOT charge them when the battery is even a little warm. No OSD is kind of lame .. that should have been included so that you know when end of battery life is coming. With those tiny brushed motors, you're not going to be able to do much in the way of aerobatics anyway, so probably just as good that its not full acro. My Eachine E010S is about the same size but it has high rev brushed motors which allow it to do some acro ... but, since its mainly made for flying indoors, no real need for that (I have several brushless racer types I can fly outdoors). Depending on where you are in the country, some of the restrictions are coming off, & I think we'll be in "Phase 1" here in Ohio on May 1. Mahalo ... take care ...

Interesting that in their pictures on the website they only show the one antenna on the goggles and a cap on the other side. Seems like a fun little drone, just wish the flight time was longer.
I got this as my first fpv drone and quickly got bored with the speed. Also likes to throw propellers of frequently. If you have mild to moderate drone experience like myself skip this and get a tinyhawk 1 or 2. On a positive note i used this drone to quickly graduate some family members over christmas from their super micro $20 drones they got to something with a little more pep.
Not qc, it only comes with one antenna. Should be a cap on the other one. It's not a true diversity receiver setup, one receiver, two antennas, receiver picks best signal from the antennas. It would be a big mod to put a directional antenna on one and a non directional on the other. I don't know why they cheaped out and didn't put a second antenna. Even a dipole, with one vertical and one horizontal would have helped and probably cost them less than a dollar.
Great fun Dustin. Love the EMAX range of tinywhoop FPV quads. Great beginners drone. I bet your glad it has the built in prop guards when it hit the back of your head lol. Great review as usual buddy. Cheers mate and stay safe 👍✈️😊
The Banggood page only shows a single antenna on the goggles and so maybe one will work OK but you might not get the clarity you got from the video feed. It might be worth trying to check out the difference.

Never touched a drone, this is in my 'to buy' stack for learning. I think, as long as you _know_ it's a trainer you'll rapidly outgrow, you should be fine. Then I'll probably pass it around to family.
I'm having to fly mine line of sight because my glasses don't fit in the goggles. I am going to have to take an old pair and remove the lenses and make a holder that fits inside the goggles.
@joshua broughton-herrick i have done something similar to this. But it wasnt 100$ or under. If you can find a qx65 for 25$ please send me the link. The whole point of a kit like this is the cheap price and the ease of setup. For a beginner this is the point

hey dustin I had a question. Is there any other rtf fixed wing drones besides the disco which isn't sold anyomore? All I can find are kits that you need to spend time wiring and buying esc's for and stuff.
It is now $105.00 dollars OVER 100 bucks. Looks super cheaply made molded weak plastic. I'd only buy that if it was in a Gum Ball Machine for 25 cents but I'd buy that for 25 bucks but that is it. The company is lucky to have you and your channel to promote there product otherwise it looks laughable at their price....nothing against you buddy. You have a really great channel😀👍👍
Hey Dustin, I know that you haven't done a video on the mavic air in a while, but I have a quick question. I have noticed that if I fly my mavic air forward the gimbal tilts down just a bit and when I take my finger of the controlle stick the gimbal tilts up just a bit (normal mode not sport mode). The tilting is very minor and I'm not finding it much of a problem but I just want to make sure that this is normal. It doesn't look like the aircraft is tilting too much for the gimbal like in sport mode, it more looks like the gimbal is having a hard time keeping up with the tilting of the aircraft (if that makes any sense). Do you have any ideas? Thanks
I don't understand why no streamer on this topic touches any bases on replacing the batteries?! This disconnection of the wire from battery to the other end of the drone lol
U happen to be most precise and throughout streamer but yet to my continuing disappointment which leads to waste of money... cuz I break em after it doesn't work out within 30mins
If u could put a bigger batteries in it would be a lot better but u can get an air hogs drone that does the same thing except Goggles u just put ur phone in instead but u will save 60 bucks since there 40 for the air hogs one

Can I use my DJI sport edition goggles with the drone. They are 2.4 and 5.8ghz. I’ve never seen anyone using those for FPV.

They onley put one 5.8 antenna in All of them its not fail packed every rewiev ive seen it onley omes with the one antenna
