Just a lame question, I apologize for that? Can you recommend any replacement for HKS t51r that makes a similar spooling sound? I'm just not in for a t51r mod. Thanks in advance.
Do you have much information on the 7670 and the 8374 ? I’m going to be building a 2.2ltr motor in my sti coupe and I’m worried about the lag side of things with these big t4 Twinscroll turbos, is there any information you could pass on to me to help me with my pickup so they aren’t to boggy down low ? There aren’t a lot of guys out there that can give me information as the EFR turbos have basically been put on stock sti motors and they’re all picking up boost at 4500rpm and that’s not really much help lol
I have run basically everything but a 7670 although a friend has it in his subie. Personally I believe the 8374 was very efficient in its ability to power on quickly. Nothing will beat the 7163 thought that came on like a stock turbo! I would ask what the plan for the car is. Then make a determination. If you hit me up on IG OR FB I can send you a graph that does some comparisons.
@@dujuanjohnson5025 still not in the car unfortunately. I ended up adding a killer b holy header to the build and had the whole exhaust ceramic coated. It's together, not in the car yet. Finishing up timing and fuel system, need to run a bigger lift pump to my process west surge tank.
Did you call it a 6258 as to compare it to precision naming conventions? So the outta dimensions of front compressor are 62mm and rear outta exducer are 58mm (74mm inner in BorgWarner terminology?) ?

I called it a 6258 being that’s what borg calls it.

@@farmer3242 talking about the different turbos they offer, 6258, 7163, 8374, 9174, and so on.
Any thoughts on the 8474 vs the 9174 for a time attack S2000 using either the stock F22C 2.2L or a 2.4L K24 swap?
Sorry not really a Honda guy, but I would K sway the heck out of it.
