Very cute! A double row of basting about 1/4 “ apart can give you more control on your gathering. Have fun! I’ve been sewing since 1969 😲😬 and thoroughly enjoy it. Dresses, shorts, skirts, pants, three wedding dresses, maternity clothes, baby clothes, drapes and recovered several sofas and chairs. I call it soft engineering.
Hey, I really loved the tutorial! Just a small tip: it would be super helpful if you could include the measurements in centimeters as well, since some of us (myself included) don't use inches.❤
Hello from northern New Brunswick, Canada 🇨🇦 I only started sewing a few years ago (I’m 63 yrs. young) Just a tip re: gathering, after baste stitching, pulling on the bobbin thread only makes the gathering a bit easier. I forget where I learned that tip. It was a game changer for a shirt I was sewing when setting in sleeves to body, mind you, 2 rows of basting stitches also helps as well. Looking forward to you sharing your journey☺️
i love this tutorial so much and im planning on doing it for my short trip coming up !!!🤎🤎🤎 also you should always turn your handwheel towards you not clockwise as it can damage the machine’s motor! thank you for the tutorial 🥰
@@MODABYMOON hi friend ! Welcome to the chaos 💗 i try my best to follow directions but sometimes i get a little too free spirited , glad there are other like me 😂✨

Heyyy! I just started sewing very recently and your tutorial is super helpful, I appreciate it!! Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial, I'll have to thrift some oversized button downs to try it!
Hey guys! Just a small tip, if you want it to look more professional, try using a french seam on the sides of the corset as well as when attaching all the pieces together 🩷

@@BeverlyKaintheQueenofhowto that’s Amazing! I just checked out your channel i love that you’re showing people how to do / be in love with their hair, as a natural girl i struggled with that alot when i was younger so that is so nice to see 🥹✨
