Sam.. I love your recipes but I am constantly finding that a lot of your recipes aren't on your website and the ingredients aren't in the description. It is so so frustrating to not have the measurements from you :(
Eyeball it and measure based on instinct. Chances are you could eyeball a tablespoon or a cup a lot better than you think. Taste as you go. If you need measurements, look for recipes online that use the same ingredients.
I’m sure you could have one indoors but considering the size and heating surface your whole house could easily smell like food. It’s also pretty expensive but I would purchase that if I could afford it
Love this channel!! I used to not cook. But having someone that I can watch and repeat is amazing!! Only thing I wish is you had the amounts of what is being used. really great (and affordable) homemade-ish alfredo sauce:
my mother makes this all the time and though there is a couple store bought items (just to make things less expensive) i swear to you, it is delicious.
Ingredients are:
Roux:
1/2 cup of butter
~3 tbsp of flour
tsp of minced garlic (“canned” or not, your choice; we use “canned”)
stir until golden (NOT BROWN, unless you want a nuttier flavor) and thick
add Milk (probably about 6 cups but whenever you feel it’s enough to fill your saucepan to little more than halfway)
stir continuously until it thickens. this takes a bit of time (about 20 minutes) but while you’re waiting add your spices.
we use:
cajun seasoning (slap ya mama cajun seasoning)
a pinch of seasoned salt. (be sparse with this. season and taste until you reach your desired saltiness. i mean it. this seasoned salt is saltier than actual salt.)
onion powder
garlic powder
ground black pepper
and finally the cheese. this is where all the food connoisseurs are gonna judge me. personally i can’t afford all of that true delicious block cheese so i use great value three cheese italian blend with parmesan mozzarella and romano cheese. use about 2/3 of the bag (just the regular sized bag, not the big one) and continue to stir. it will thicken almost immediately. if you want to, add the pasta water into your sauce as well to give it more flavor.

I would also like to add that contrary to what joe blow said a while ago....I like the commentary and wit from your boy the videographer! Keep up the great job!!!! If I was going to change anything, it would be to cut the chicken on a bias so that there is more chicken surface per bite. I have always made a flour/butter cream sauce like I do when I make mac'n cheese but I am going to try this cream method next time....so creamy!! Bill from Victoria, BC Canada
Ik this is dumb but him showing the part where he spills the sauce just, add so much authenticity to the video bc most people would probably edit it out. And for some reason that makes me trust him lmao I have to subscribe now jahwhahhave
Went mental on this...the crunch so satisfying with the softness of the pasta..manga!!!
I love this guy
Hi Sam! Love your videos and all of the food you prepare looks amazing. One question if I may: what temp is your cooking surface? Asking specifically for the garlic bread. Thanks! New subscriber here!
Sam.. I love your recipes but I am constantly finding that a lot of your recipes aren't on your website and the ingredients aren't in the description. It is so so frustrating to not have the measurements from you :(
You need to cook with instinct and love you don’t need to measure
Eyeball it 👀;)
Eyeball it and measure based on instinct. Chances are you could eyeball a tablespoon or a cup a lot better than you think. Taste as you go.
If you need measurements, look for recipes online that use the same ingredients.
Y’all are annoying. Why not give a simple estimated guess on what you think the measurements are since you’re so good at eyeballing?
Made this for the family tonight...HUGE hit! Loved by ALL!👍
Just made this with my wife, ducking amazing. Did a few bits different, "my" way. So dang good.
What’s the name of the flat surface he’s cooking on? Is it only for outdoors?
It's called an evo
I’m sure you could have one indoors but considering the size and heating surface your whole house could easily smell like food. It’s also pretty expensive but I would purchase that if I could afford it
Totally would have an evo if I could....roughly 3500 dollars
@@jsblusmokebbq4343 I just looked they are almost $4,000.
@@BakerImageGroup in a heartbeat. Love it

This looks amazing. I love the idea of chilli flakes.
Love this channel!! I used to not cook. But having someone that I can watch and repeat is amazing!! Only thing I wish is you had the amounts of what is being used. Sometimes you forget to mention how much whipping cream or in some other videos. In the description it would be great if it had the amounts. Other than that, this channel is my favorite!! It literally made me begin cooking!!!
