I checked my house and literally there wasn't a single packed item which didn't have Palm Oil in the first 3 ingredients, even in things which I never expected. Hard realisation that I was unknowingly so close to heart diseases. Thank you for making us aware. But I mean, why in the world is FSSAI allowing this? This is highly concerning!

Palm oil is everywhere and in anything we consumer which is due to its cost effectiveness. If you are ready to pay more, other expensive brands use less or no palm oil. The problem is we are very price sensitive country and things at bulk need to reach the masses in any form. It would naive tn thjnk the milk that we consume is all pure, but the compulsion is to provide milk at large and reachable to masses. That's the real challenge. So my point is we must spread awareness but if we try tn create hue n cry about the edibles which is somehow reaching to masses at large then that's gonna create a lot dissatisfaction among citizens and then the Govt may take drastic steps which would be eventually further deteriorate the exsting set ups.

Thanks to foodpharmer ! I have eliminated sugar from my diet it's been over a month now and I don't feel cravings as well. Elimination of sugar has led me to not purchase soft drinks, choclates..I eat dark chocolate with no sugar and dates to satisfy my sweet craving and I have become more aware about ingredients I do check every time before purchasing it.
In US some products do contain palm oil like protein bars , literally every brand which makes protein bar contains palm oil . In Nutella , peanut butter , margarine the list is endless, US is no different than India considering food industry, in US too one person like you makes videos to educate people on what they are eating , his name is Bobby Parrish , do watch his videos under Flavcity with Bobby Parrish .

Hi , The ingredients are arranged based on percentage of weight. If the millet is the first or second ingredient then the noodles are really made up of millet . The ingredients are arranged from Highest to lowest in weight .
