Great vid nice controlled riding Of the FireBlade !! I have a kwacker zx7r 1999 had it since 2006 when I paid 2500 with 5k on the clock Still got it now 77k Just love the way it handles and rides These older sports bikes need to still be seen on the road
@@RetroSuperbikes hi mate yes green but I do like the purple though !! I am in London but got it through the Ulez emissions test but sadly sadiq khan has ruined the older bikes in london ! Dont get me started Have a good Christmas and new year and ride safe
I have had many bikes and still do, i had one off these same colour, an excellent road sports bike and all rounder with that full power feel no cats or tech, its all you need, and i have a ninja H2? I sold the honda and instantly regretted it, but i found it a little short seat to handlebar ergonomically, so easy to shunt about 😊
I had an OG '92 one in white/blue/red and a black RRV. Loved them both. I have always liked the 954RR. I have a 'busa Gen2 now and that is to me what your bike is to you. A keeper. Not interested in anything else, she is my girl. 😁😁
I have the 2017 Blade in the Black. I once bought a brand new blade in 2000 when they went fuel injected. The Blade I have now is in a different league as you would expect. 196kg and 189bhp... Goes mental at 10000 rpm bit like the old Blackbird did at 6000rpm...
I had a K5 and a K2, both awesome and both of them stupidly light compared to today's litre bikes. The 'busa I have now was supposed to calm me down a bit as it is the daddy Gixxer, but who am I kidding lol. Amazing how they go through A roads for the size and weight of the buggers!
@@RetroSuperbikes Can't beat the center exhaust and dash, plus great colour schemes while maintaining performance and rideability. Earlier and later ones just don't look as good with (sometimes massive) one sided exhaust.
To this day the bike is still beautiful
I love it. One of the last proper looking bikes in my opinion.

@sugarrfree I'm hoping so. Always tend to do a pre summer oil and filter change and Motul oil.
I personally think the RR6 was a gem !
Oh they're lovely, especially with the underseat exhaust like the new CBR600rr has.
I bought a new one in 06, superb machine to ride, and just a pleasure to own !
@mickclarke4579 What did you swap it for?
Sold it, put the money into classic British bikes.
@mickclarke4579 ooh whatve you got?

Thanks bud. I've always had a soft spot for the Zx7r, is it green/purple?

Yeah love the Busa's proper man's bike that. My old man has had several. The OG blade was such a game changer.
Beautiful bike
Thanks bud. What do you ride?
This was my first bike! 😂
So stupid, but loved it!,
As long as you know not to go mad and feed the throttle in the more experienced you get then it's fine.

They are quick, people always think they're the "sensible" alternative
@@RetroSuperbikes 😂😂 Those "people" need to have a go on full power with all the assists switched off !
@jm252 That's it 👍 I recently reviewed the '24 S1000rr on here and found it quite bland
@@RetroSuperbikes I will subscribe and have a look at your reviews!
@jm252 thanks bud 👍
I have the gsxr1000k6 166kg dry, mad how much heavier the new bikes have become , don't think I'd get rid off mine either far too much fun 👍🏻
Definitely don't. The 06 Gixer has the fastest 0-60 of any bike if I remember correctly. It was on the cusp of all the big EU changes.

@royevans4581 Stable beasts aren't they. The only difference between men and boys is the size of our toys.

Do you think?

@peterw6227 The CBR600RR I just reviewed has gone back to having the underseat exhaust. Looks quality
