@AudatiousXtreme I actually did quite a bit! There's alot of settings I wasn't changing at all, saved over a second on laguna seca!
If you ever make a specific tuning guide for these, I suggest to put driving examples. Such as differentials, what happens when you lock a diff and open a diff for FWD cars when turning to help with understeer. same goes with RWD and AWD. Or with springs and ARBs.
This is something I'm going to start working on next, it's a video ice wanted to do for a while but I wasn't sure people wouldn't still need

Yeahhhh you aren't wrong. With the new major update coming out soon and everyone going to be maxing out all these random cars I'll be making a totally updated guide. Most of what I said is still pretty relevant but I've made some changes in the way I tune since then
Differential upgrade does not raise performance index number.

top 400 in the world isn’t really a flex. and that’s not even really fast. you’re still seconds behind #1. in ranked 33 on this track and your tune just made me slower lol

why is forza so hostile toward new players.....what new player would be able to do any of this or would care after seeing how much work it is....I'm not going to adopt a part time job to just play a game.
That’s why community tunes exist… set to highest rated/ downloads in the filter and you’ll find one to suit your needs. It pretty good tbf, other than defaults not being great for standard cars…lets us who want to mess about with it have some fun and let’s those who don’t know how, or don’t have the time, to quickly apply an optimal one if they wanted.
@@Synergy465 every tune is 1 star for most cars and it doesn't tell you how to tune still or what tune to use, I'm not going to download all 100k tunes the community made for a car just to find one good one that actually turns....lmfao...and most the time top rated tunes are wheel users or people with inflated reviews with garbage tunes just from having followers like king posh or ar12gaming or many others...this doesn't help, its a joke you even suggest downloading tunes, I tell you its a pain to tune and a full-time job and you suggest a different full-time job....thanks, great insight.
As someone with two young kids and a full-time job plus making youtube videos, I can assure you that there ARE 5 star tunes for every car you just need to quickly filter for them. There's no reason anything needs to be hard, find a tune named "grip" thats rated good and have at it....
Personally I understand how a car works and would MUCH rather tweak some simple things and benefit hugely from it within seconds vs downloading some random locked tune... to each their own... I suggest spending maybe an hour to fully read and comprehend all of the tuning options and what they do (it's all typed out for you right there in game) I promise you'll learn a ton and will have alot better understanding of what you want to actually "tune"
@@AudatiousXtreme every time they make a game its full of typos though or they have to type it in a way that is hard to understand...the game is hostile to new players in general...its written out for me sure, but not written well, its lazily written out with something that looks like its pasted from chatgpt without a graphic that doest even show you what its doing and they have put in 1 star effort to improve it...and i deleted it anyways, until they realize how to make a forza game again I will just play the old ones or asseto corsa...there's not even any drifting and racing is boring.
and no matter how much I read the settings which I do understand them all because I can make a rwd front engine drift tune and drag tunes though they all don't apply the same way to different car setups and the community is hostile and wont help to explain how it works differently between fwd front engine or rwd rear engine or anything inbetween for example....and I'm stuck to rwd front engine essentially because the game and community is either too dumb or hostile to explain tuning correctly or the game is too dead because I went into multiple lobbies and asked and nobody talks in this game.
