When my Sony 4K blu-ray player kept freezing, I thought the discs were defective (they were not scratched or dirty) or the player was broken. The problem was actually heat. I added an AC Infinity AIRCOM T10 on top of my amplifiers, which were cooking the blu-ray player, and also added some tiny 80mm AC Infinity fans to blow on the back of my blu-ray player (they run via USB jacks on the AIRCOM T10, and also turn on when the AIRCOM T10 turns on). My blu-ray player has not frozen since, and I also re-played my problematic movies without issues.

Thanks for watching!! This is really interesting - it seems like our player hasn't been having any freezing problems lately since putting it in the rack and giving it more breathing room so there definitely is some truth here. Didn't even consider it until now!

    Howdy guys!
AC Infinity is awesome stuff. Hard to find better stuff for the price. I picked up two of their products recently. I wish I had this promo code at the time :(
Looks like you guys had added a nice rack for all of your equipment. Perhaps I missed it before, but either way, looks awesome!
Thanks as always for quality content

Hey Matt - Thanks for watching :) The rack has made a huge difference in the cooling of our gear and the AC infinity fans are pretty much unmatched at this price as you mentioned!
Hope you & your family are well and have a great December!

Do you plug your amps into the surge protectors? Manufacturer recommendation for most quality amps is to plug it straight into the wall. I have an APC H15 for my prepro and media players, but wont plug my amps into it. Theoretically, the surge protector shouldn't interfere with the power demand to the amp but I have my concerns. There again, I feel some sort of surge protection is a smart idea. What has been your experience? Do you see any sag in performance using the 15a surge protectors? Its a shame they dont make them with 20a breakers.

Hi and thanks for watching! Yes I always plug my amps into surge protectors, the PDUs from AC infinity are really good quality and I haven't noticed any of my amps starving for power. Hope this helps.

Do you know if they make a model that can sit directly on top of an amp and suck the air from the amp’s top vents and exhaust out the front? I can’t seem to figure this out on their website. Thanks.

For class D amps, i was considering the 1U intake cloudplate units above each amp, in an encloused rack with top dual exhaust fans, and a front door. Should i also add a 2U S7 at the very bottom of the rack?

I think that would give the best airflow.

Thanks for watching! The blue light comes from an RGB LED light bar mounted on the top - amzn.to/3iO3dlH Hope this helps!

@@TwoGuyzTech hey thanks. Very familiar with startech racks. One last question..for the fan controllers..what type of connector connects the fan to controller? Is it a USB connector or 3/4 pin pwm header connector?

I watched your AV RACK BUILD Part - 1 that you did with your Son IMPRESSED,
    Another splendid demo/info video 👍👊✊
I would like to purchase the AC INFINITY FAN T9 3U EXHAUST AIRFLOW for my little SANUS CFR2115 34'' Custum Install AV Rack there's cut out section at the top of the unit and one also at the bottom I just need the one for the top.
Would I be eligible for the 15% discount ?
The only problem is that I live in England UK - Mirfield West Yorkshire
    Kind regards
    Mel

Just put a laptop cooling pad on top and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. 😊
