Just bought the AirCom S7 and im loving it , I started with just the multifan S3 which also work amazingly well.
Good review. I prefer the full 17" size with additional fan. I actually like the cosmetic look sitting on top of my receiver

Should the amp be hot?
Do you want to kill a 15000 dollar Class A amp from excessive heat? Or burn down the house? I choose to go with a fan.
@@deepmystic333 well I've come to realize that a fan is good depending on if you forcing air out or in.
If your forcing air in then you would most likely ruin the components, so the best thing to do would be to force the heat out.
And furthermore I dont think that denon would make a component as dangerous as you describe.

It might at full speed but mid to low speed is totally fine.

I do not know exact numbers, should be around 30 watts base on some audio press, according to some Japanese reviews it sounded very close to Accuphase E36 with better vocals on SX-11.

In the video it looked like the test was conducted with the amp at idle.
How does the smart feature work when the amp is playing for a sustained period - as in listening?
It would seem that the temperature would be higher and the fan would have to work harder during listening periods.
As I explained it in the video, every 2° temperature increases fan speed will increase as well up to max speed as you set, in my case up to medium speed.

I am not comfortable with the idea of a mechanically vibrating object (in this instance, Fan), however efficiently it might have been designed, to be in direct contact with HiFi equipment. There is no way deleterious micro vibrations can be prevented from effecting the HiFi equipment's performance.
Why not put it on isolation feet sorbothane etc? Who said you can’t do this?
