- There's something about the Zero soundtrack that just makes it work better as an electronic arrangement than a standard rock one. They're really big on the whole kick drum on every beat thing.

I love the reversal of roles this game’s intro has. Zero 1 started with the resistance coming to Zero out of desperation, and Zero 2 starts with Zero making it to the resistance out of desperation. It shows how neither force is powerful without the other to support it.
Plus Zero with that torn poncho in the beginning of Zero 2 is nothing but pure badassness
Technically Zero doesn't "search" for the resistance in Z2, he basically submits to the sweet release of death after the intro battle, but because the plot is a prick, the resistance finds and ressurects him....again. Zero is the real victim here. He just wants to die, but like michale corleone they keep bringing him back in!
@@Phoenixesper1 wonder how much of zero is in that biometal anyway... lets just hope its his personality only. heck so many holes like when cyberspace bleeds into the real world in that setting. couldnt that be used for unlimited ressurections? if so then that could be a huge plot point for a sequel finding out what causes that phenomina and a way to either seal it away or control it before it engulfs the world... could be a way to recycle some things too perhaps sigma and the zero virus is not entirely gone but currently rendered impotent with that event threating to revive them by giving them a foot hold in the merged area, perhaps weil isnt as dead as thought either and part of him survived in cyberspace but is incomplete to the point of near catatona awaking once some of model w gets engaulfed into a cyberspace area. so many things could be done with it heck they could even pull wiley and light back in some form.

I like that throughout this stage, Zero is hunched over and looking beat up even though his energy bar has no damage. It’s as if he’s capable of getting tired after a long journey.
The pause screen being a broken down version of Zero 1's is also a nice touch.
Zero is a reploid right? Don't reploids have to like, recharge and stuff...? Or can they just sleep?
@@nickyogurt i read in the wiki that they recharge on solar energy, but zero was in very bad shape so probably that had something to do
@@nickyogurt He is a reploid. Zero could run forever on solar energy, but he's probably fought a year straight without resting. Every machine will eventually run down, no matter how complex.

This is probably the only remix that not only upgrades this amazing track, but also retained the composition, that it still holds to that magic felt from the game. A sub earned my friend
I really love this remix. I think that it's the most beautiful remix of Departure I've found on TH-cam. This remix gives me the feeling of someone who's weak, having a hurted body, but with a big desire of fight for justice and for what's good until the end. Everytime I listen to it, it just shakes my heart and my feelings. Congratulations for the effort you put in this video, and in all of your megaman and megaman zero remixes. @@bradensommers6764 Zero lived and died for the ones he believed in. This remix makes me think in a very tired zero, tired of fighting. Just as the intro of megaman zero 2 says, "Those battles just lost meaning for Zero". But, even if he was tired, he decided to fight for what was right until the end.

That's the great thing about this soundtrack...there are so many versions, official and unofficial. You can never get bored of it because once you do, you just move on to another arrangement of it.

Maybe. I try to avoid tracks that change time signatures, since PxTone forces me to have a singular, unchanging time signature, but I have done it before. It's possible, just a pain to work with.

A lot of people are asking for Cannonball, and whilst I don't usually like saying I'll do requests since I get lazy, I'll admit that it would be fun to arrange, especially since the Hard Revenge version exists. As for unfinished works, I've got too many to count. I'll start something, and either I don't like where it's going and forget to delete it, or I forget about the project completely (usually in favour of something else).
