As the years go by I seem to dislike this video more and more. I’m not happy with it and I’d have deleted it if it wasn’t for the fact that a lot of people like it. I misidentified genres and included dumb shit that doesn’t even make sense, the artwork is bad, the video was rushed yada yada. I made this while bored I’m my online classes during covid and really didn’t put much thought into it.

I came home from work today and my neighbor was listening to the news SO LOUD outside of his house through a large 3 ft tall speaker so I searched for "music to piss off your neighbors" and this came up. Played it on 100% volume, Bose speaker system and subwoofer turned up all the way for 30 straight minutes. I could hear every bass kick all the way on the other side of my house while I was taking a shower. Exactly what I was looking for!

lolicore is a subgenre of breakcore featuring lots of pitched up anime samples (like those of lolis) it was started in the early 2000s by people trying to be edgy many current artists dislike the name and the stigma around it which is why its commonly called anicore instead, ive spoken to a few and they have said that their music technically is lolicore but they dont like people calling it that and have been harassed over it alot. there are some bad people in the community but please dont attack someone for something like that it really is just a word.

Found this during a really bad panic attack (which I'm working through now) I do have ADHD (diagnosed) along with other things so maybe that contributes to this but:
I have always been sensitive to loud noises, especially yelling, but I think it's because this in particular is not only expected but controlled, it helps me calm down. I have a feeling others can relate to this too!
Also, when I'm in these moods calm music just makes me more anxious. Maybe it's another thing to where your heartbeat matches with the beat of the music, so maybe your brain finally balances it through this music

Glad to see emma's work in this mix, even tho she was pretty popular in the late 00s/early 2010s I always felt she was underrated as an artist in general. I mean just take a look at the insanely gargantuan archive of music in all of the aliases she's done, so versatile in so many genres! (Renard will always have a special place in my heart lol)
She's not an innocent individual, I will simply say that, however she has gone through lots of therapy since then and transitioned and such, and has grown to be a much better person from what I've heard. Along with that those affected by her actions also seem to be recovering and healing which is especially good, no one deserves to have to suffer from the actions of others for all their lives. I'm simplifying things yes but I'm mostly just wanting to say she's come a long way, and despite not having started out too great, she's become a much better person over time and with effort.
