What does it take to be successful in life?
Does it take an enormous amount of talent? Privilege?
    What about luck?
Certainly those elements play a role in success, no doubt about it.
But if you look at truly successful people, or look at any success you’ve had in your life, can you really attribute it primarily to those three things: luck, talent, or privilege?
Or is there something else - something simpler - to achieving the success that you want in your career, business, or life in general?

Love that you're a Christian. Not many marketers, even if they are Christian, are willing to be transparent about it. May God bless you as you glorify Him in your business. Just found your channel today, and I've been really enjoying the content. I am a full-time artist and, lately, I teach classes online. Thanks and keep up the good work!

It's very true - especially the end of the video. The worst in the business is to burn out. Getting out of it takes months.

I'm pretty good about work hours (I'm not self-employed, but even though work has flex time, I still come in and leave at the same times). What I'm not good with is alone time. This has caused me problems in the past. Like you, I hate getting up in the morning, so alone time has to be earlyish evenings, which conflicts with family time (my kids are mostly grown and moved out, but my wife still needs time with me). Still looking for a consistent solution, but having some period of time which is not work and is yours with no justification needed is a necessity, at least for me. It's amazing to me that you manage all you do with four five-hour days. Keep the content coming!

My One Thing is adding Buffers into my newly begun 5:00am to 6:00am routine.
    ● Of the many Graham pointers that he provided; buffers were new for me.
    ● My routine has four tasks sequenced as; meditation/prayer, stretching, weights, and walking. All at 15 minutes each, but one spills into the next.
    ● Graham mentioned adding "buffers" between tasks, so I'm lengthening my morning routine by 30 minutes.
    ● It will be 5am to 6:30am by adding a 10-minute buffer after each of the first 3 tasks.
    * Thanks for sharing Graham and have a great day. *

Great video, Graham! I think I'd like to do a better job solidifying my work hours. I feel like sometimes I give too much attention to things that don't matter, or overburden myself with more than I could get done in a single day. This video was helpful!

man i appreciate you so much Graham, i bought a mixing tutorial from you years ago and it massively changed my mixes and it sent me from doing it for free to charging good money for my mixes.
Now, you're out here showing us and giving us real life advice. You are definitely a mentor to me. Thank you again Graham, God bless.

I totally agree with not overbooking yourself. I see people do this all the time and then they miss commitments. People don’t realize it can end up hurting you.

This might be the most fundamentally important video of yours. All the knowledge I have gathered has not really been used because every day has been a mess. Doing stupidly long days, always just doing what comes to mind. (which is rarely important at all) Your style of time consistent and pre-planned work days is what I want to emulate from this day forward.

Graham, every video is more and more refining to my work life. Thank you!
To answer your question, I want to make sure to not add too much to my work load. It's tough, because I still work 40 hours at a job, while I'm getting my businesses off the ground, so I really only have 9am-11am Mon-Friday to work on my business, then after work is family time. Trying to use those 10 hrs wisely with not too much, and not too little.

    Greetings from India!
Super inspiring video..Major problem is having a lot on the plate..We need to learn to say NO and prioritize..When we say YES to things that we dont like it also means we are saying NO to things that we like..these videos really inspire us a lot and I really want to work on these routines..Seeing these videos motivates us to do more and I definitely want to implement these and keep the drive going on..Love the way this channel is growing with some amazing content.

Thanks Girish! And you're right, when we say "Yes" to something we are simultaneously saying "No" to something else. It's called Opportunity Cost. And it's tricky to make the right decision every time. Glad these videos are helping!

Love it. Super inspiring. For me, business is about product and messaging. So first thing everyday is 1 hour on product (the current/next music project) then 1 hour on messaging (studying/practicing copywriting). Then the “JIT” (just in time) of the day - the next thing I have to do in my product cycle (could be back to music, email copy, scripting videos, etc.). And that’s it.

    Hello Graham.
I have just one question, maybe it's too personal. In that case I will understand if you will not answer.
But since this video is very personal a think it's quite polite to ask.
I wonder if you studio is in or attached to your house, or is far away.
I ask this because in some self improvment methods for musicians, they suggest to go away from home to study/work.
    What about you?
Thank you in advance and I wish this channel will have the same succes of Recording Revolution. You deserve it!
    Bye bye from Italy,
    Luigi

Hi, thanks for showing your routine. Heard it a lot from others, never saw how it should be implemented. By the way, how do you plan out-calls. Do you go for meetings within these 5 hours or plan after 2:00pm?

Hi Graham. I love your message in this channel and the one @recordingrevolution. Thank you for what you do. I have one question. Why didnt you upload theese videos at your other channel and you created a new one instead? I'd like to know your way if thinking. I wish you well
