Lovely ! I had a 'Fireball' a few years back. One of the few boards I could actually hang five on. Not as well as Ray Gleave though ! lol

@@garymcevoysurfvideo Ray Gleave is one of those rare talents you don't see that often these days. A pure style master, I could watch that guy surf all day. Inspirational and entertaining. He makes things you know from experience are quite difficult to do, look so very easy.

I wonder how much of his signature model went into the fireball square tail? One of the best surfs in my life was on my Ray Gleave at big Warra!

Ray and I had a lengthy chat about this board before I started recording and I can say he had a word in every aspect of the design, as well as the 9'10 he is about to receive, he definitely works closely with the shaper.

I bought an Ray Fireball model, it has three areas of delamination on the top. Should I cut this out and use q-cell, or inject Resin into the area's. I didn't have the money to buy a new board. Not complaining Gods been good. Any ideas. Thank you ✝️

From Ray, if you can't get it down to the McTavish factory in Byron, then, if the delam is small yes inject the resin, but if large cut out, q cell and glass. Ensure dry, salt and sand free of course. From the Gleave!

@@garymcevoysurfvideo Thanks for the information I asked about a delamination problem. It was a larger area then I had anticipated. However I followed your advice, and happy to say it turned out great. Once again thank you and God bless.
