What's up Victor! You really make quick work of these videos and always fun fishing with you and Brook. Thanks for giving ole dennysebnasty a shoutout. Nolan Minor, the pile of fish you saw on deck that was mine, was being transferred out of the Saltwater brine so that they could be packed and layered with ice. I probably ice my fish better than 99% of commercial fishermen out there, and creating a salt brine is the fastest and most effective way to drop the core temperature. But you don't want your fish sitting in water for long periods or they become soft and will eventually absorb water. If you simply drain the brine then that doesn't guarantee that the fish will hold and have ice layered between them, so you have to remove the fish, hence the multiple fish hitting deck into the pile as it was being filmed. Part you didn't see is that those fish were already brined and that if I keep fish they go into the brine while alive. When it's cold means you can leave fish on deck during a blitz for a few minutes max, and adds alot of unrequired work to ensure that my fish are the highest of quality when they go to market. You can throw fish in a cooler and top with ice by law, but that is no where near brined quality. Why Landshark was commenting that I am really strict with my icing, because I take pride in taking care of my fish to the best I can. Although junkfish to many, they are sold for consumption, and I want people to eat fish the same way I would. There are alot of fish there because I spent many hours before anyone catching fish on my own, and don't want anyone to ever exceed their bag limit if they choose to help me within their recreational limit. I can exceed the recreational limit, but unless you hold a RS Commercial Permit like myself you cannot. Is a tough living land based so am grateful if anyone chooses to help me within the law, but I'm out fishing every day because there is alot of behind the scenes work that make it a fruitless career choice. Sacrifices I make to do what I love to do, which is catch fish as much as possible and hangout with good people
First time viewer here. My first observation is you guys sure had a great time at that pier! I've never seen such good fishing without being in a boat. Second, anyone talking smack about the volume of the catch or what you do with your lawfully obtained seafood is just waving a big flag with a message on it saying they are ignorant; it's worth trying to educate the ignorant one time, but beyond that it's not worth the effort. Third and final comment, why doesn't anyone bleed their fish on the pier? The commercial fisherman knows the financial loss he will suffer per fish that isn't properly bled immediately after it is caught. Makes for a much tastier meal. Good job out there!
I think I gave him some jacks the one time I fished Sebastian, he shared bait as long as we gave him the jacks caught on it. No issue with killing fish, but I never like seeing them lying on the ground, does he not lose any market value for not icing them down and taking care of the meat?
Finaly made it from Montéal to Wabasso and now fishing on the Sebastian inlet almost every day hope to see you an Brook... Keep up the good work Victor!
The expression "gotcha", matches not only the jig, but the catch too. Epic slaying is an understatement. I think you invented a new fishing pun with that "Macarena" reference. Sebestian fishing is great, the pier and the inlet, thanks for showing what fun it can be. Some folks turn their noses up at shore based fishing, it awesome you use this platform and your influence to show how awesome it can be. Those were some stud reds "Poisson Rouge". Until next time, tight lines & good vibes.
Thanks brother! I feel you on the landbased, I grew up doing it and no matter where life takes me I’ll always be drawn to it. There’s something about piers, jetties and the challenge that comes with it, that makes it so rewarding🤟
So good brother keep on fishing life is good some people's don't understand this great sports and I like to see you fishing and making good food with different seasonings love your program.
Victor, what is the make of that crome lure with the read head that you use often? Also the white bucktails...what is their make? Great videos as usual - love the catch and cooks! Have used your recipes here and there...
I need good pier recommendations. I am from Michigan and am coming down for spring break to fish rather than to party. Im looking at anywhere on the east coast. What area has the most piers? And would you recommend the north, central,or south, for catching the most variety. I am extremely interested in cudas.
Hey guys love the videos. I miss all the piers in that area as I've moved up north. I'm coming down in February, where should we be fishing that time of year? What will be hitting and what bait? Thanks for the help and keep the videos coming!!
The fishing community in Australia is heaps better, everyone I know releases the massive fish (breeders) and if they want a feed only keeps the just legal ones
Hey great video vik, I always like of how you edit these videos, quick question, do you personally catch your mullet or do you buy them from a bait shop?
Since you brought it up, In my state it would be illegal to help someone catch their fish. Are you saying a "commercial" fisherman can have others catch his fish?
I just found your videos and l love them♥️. Do you need a fishing license to fish there at Deerfield pier? Thank you for sharing your awesome videos. God bless!
Thats a lot of fish... but most of it is really not good eating. Hardtails (bluefish) and jacks are really not worth keeping unless you're baiting up (not good eating, especially in those quantities). Why did you need to keep all that?
You donate to a commercial fisherman who sells them around the world? They aren't on ice so highly doubt they're going to international markets. Hey btw how come you guys usually don't cook with skin on? We've found it always taste so much better to cook with the skin on.

JetStream Yea killing fish every day like that is fucked up and is why people like me won’t be able to catch fish when I get the chance to go to these places
Ahhh, this vid made me homesick! It’s always a fun time just catching jacks and bluefish with the crew! 🎣
What's up Victor! You really make quick work of these videos and always fun fishing with you and Brook. Thanks for giving ole dennysebnasty a shoutout.

In Australia we call blue fish "tailor" and you must bleed them. Or they are a good as ruined
ImSecta Was hahaha “ruined”
ImSecta same we do call them tailor but I don’t see a lot of Tailor lately
@@williamatta3279 tailor season is just starting up in West Aus mate. Lots of small ones around few biggies in the schools but not many

He’s actually very strict about the icing. That day was very cold, and some of the fish on the deck were not his.
I can see my brother's footsteps that he wore into that pier. Good fishing. Best
Finaly made it from Montéal to Wabasso and now fishing on the Sebastian inlet almost every day hope to see you an Brook... Keep up the good work Victor!
Just got my sea foam green tarpon shirt in the mail very good and high quality shirts keep up the good work Vik and Brooke

Where can I find that little red head plug online please? Nice fishing video as always.
I'm thinking it's something called a Got-cha Plug. I remember people using it to catch tons of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, etc. Hope this helps 😄

Nice spot buddy
there are called tailor
don't pay any attention to people asking why you catch and kill so many fish, no need to even bother apologizing or feeling the need to explain
Vic what about the fishing trip giveaway?
Who one?
Thats a lot of fish... but most of it is really not good eating. Hardtails (bluefish) and jacks are really not worth keeping unless you're baiting up (not good eating, especially in those quantities). Why did you need to keep all that?
Stanley Orchard stfu
That’s the answer... silence the critics.
Not worth keeping? Lmao you’re clueless
I take it you’ve never eaten Jack Crevalle. Have you fished? It’s fun man, definitely worth trying. And Jack’s are definitely fun to catch.
Stanley Orchard Jacks are plenty eating fish. Just not restaurant fish.
Don't worry about the haters. They will always find something to gripe about. You catching too many fish is their excuse for not catching.
You should come and fish with me at pompano pier once it opens
"shivering In his flippers"
🤣
First nice video
Let the jacks go.
Shark bait my dude
Dang!

Bag limits are for individuals, You are supposed to catch your own.
kevin caron you can catch your bag limit and give it to someone and still be legal.
@@deletedaccount623 Not in Florida, you have to release after you have your limit.
kevin caron well down here in the Carolinas its a little diffrent I guess
We never reached our recreational limit. I took from within my recreational limit and donated what I didn’t bring home for dinner to my buddy.
