    The best kind of artist doesn't gatekeep, and shares their processes, like yourself, Craftsman and others do. I guarantee you lot have inspired people to give this a shot. Giving newcomers a proper starting point allows them to also innovate, and if they too share their process then it becomes exponential skill growth.

    Really cool. I've heard of Resione before from a youtube channel who was blending it with other stuff to make action figures. For me it seems like It would be economical to use it primarily for joints that can then pop into other parts printed in ABS-Like resin parts. Something I'll need to consider when I get to that point.
    The black stuff seems like it might be a good option for replacing perished rubber parts on vintage toys like hoses, tyes, bellows, etc.
    Actually..... it occurs to me that maybe Resione would be a good fit for a wire armature style stop motion figure.. you would need to find a way to insert the wire after the fact but you can sculpt a channel for the wire straight into the model then assemble the arms etc onto the body. Hmmmm.

    Isn't all resin toxic by default, even if it's fully cured? Is it possible to play with custom-made toys or give them to children? If not, than injection molding is still superior in terms of production safe toys made of non-toxic plastic or rubber.

    • @slimehousetv
      @slimehousetv  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Nothing I make, or any independent artist making stuff at home in DIY methods should ever be given to kids to play with tbh, toys sold in shops have to be given an official stamp of approval to make em kid friendly, these types of toys are only ever for adults to collect and display

    • @Gamebro-bw8jn
      @Gamebro-bw8jn 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thx for your reply.
      I remember watching craftsman's video about DIY injection moulding. Wanna make a small figure about 10 cm hight using this method to make figure as close to manufactured one as possible. I don't really care if DIY mould would only withstand around 5 runs cause I need a maximum of 5 copies of the figure.
      Do you think DIY injection moulding would produce a more durable, safe, and detailed toy compered to 3d resin printing or resin casting?

    • @slimehousetv
      @slimehousetv  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Gamebro-bw8jn injection moulding in general is a super costly process as you have to have a custom mould milled out of aluminium for it. Crafsman covered this loads so check out his videos again, And he did at one point make a 3D printed mould too So there are ways around it but obviously just the machine itself costs a lot of money before you even think about the moulds for it

    • @Gamebro-bw8jn
      @Gamebro-bw8jn 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Definitely not gonna order any metal mould or buy any machines just to make one figure for my collection. Just wanna ask someone to print mould on their 3d printer from temperature resistant resin or cast 3d printed mould in any temperature resistant material. After that, just find someone with simple injection moulding machine in their garage and ask them to make 5 injections)
      But I'm consider about quality of the figures cause DIY mould are kinda meh.
