It's a shame that medium shields got that weird ass combo on shield strike. Having both attack and block frames at the same time - maybe with a slight decrease to stability while doing so - would be a very nice mixup potential with actually fun playstyle
That first kill at the intro was amazing! And the almost-kill at 22:10 was almost-amazing! Fantastic cosmic coincidence that it didn't work, that was beautiful. The strongest of plot armor on those Crucible Knights. Really cool-looking build! I've wanted to try out the dueling shields but haven't had the opportunity, and the Roaring Bash looks really fun and versatile too. Man, I wish it were easy to roll up another character, I'd love to try this out.

It just sticks out I guess I can't even describe it That being said, this thing should not have more gb than lesser greatshields. Not even a wooden one cause then what's the appeal of using a greatshield stat-wise? It should, imo, be lowered in another patch. no medium shield should be stronger than the weakest greatshield

I was calling out how this is the first lost video I have seen in the past two months that did not have multiple children going straight to the comment section and pasting these annoying comments. I like that shields are more viable, but if you compare the medium and small shield stability values to greatshield stability values, you'll notice something kinda absurd.
It's such a shame that Golden Lion Shield just has a reskinned Shield Bash AoW. Imo, From should have put this shield somewhere in between Coil Shield and Shield of Night. It could have been like Coil Shield as in, it would have a strong melee AoW, and it could have been like Shield of Night as in, it would utilize the guard counter mechanic. Imagine if Golden Lion Shield actually did synergize with Roar Medalion and had a guard counter AoW so it could synergize with Curved Sword Talisman and Deflecting Hardtear. That would have actually made this shield somewhat unique and strong.
The Twinbird is the same thing but gives you a second chance before death by boosting defenses so high you don’t get finished off on that last hit. Also looks much cooler.
I really love to play shield + pike as medieval burgher who does poke poke with good spacing 🫠 it’s is so annoying, red tryhards have to swap their entire arsenal🥲 One tryhard with 3800 hours in the game invaded me 19 times and he put Kick ash on all his weapons to guard broke me 😂 once he succeed and only after then stoped invade me .. poor guy’s ego 🤡

I'm so happy about this because I love using shields for style points, but it really only felt viable for parrying if you weren't using a Greatshield

the brass shield having more gb than some greatshields is crazy considering that its also about the least fasionable shield someone could use
