Wow this video is sooooo good. The guy I was seeing got cheated on 10 years ago by his ex and he never fully recovered. He barely dated..... He seemed insecure at times, and with paranoid type of jealousy. He seemed to be in love with me .... but scared as hell at the same time. He kept saying I was “dangerous”... He started acting hot and cold and I asked if everything was ok. He said yes, everything was fine, he just had the flu and had been sick for the past day of no contact. But for the past week he hadn’t called me on the phone and he hadn’t made plans to see each other. (Despite him making plans to start a business together and a family lol) so I pushed the brakes and broke it off. I just didn’t like the hot & cold vibes I was getting and I told him I wasn’t going to put up with it. He literally responded saying “umm ok is everything fine?” I said “yes it is” (i didn’t know what else I was supposed to say lol) then he said “I don’t know what’s going on” i told him I didn’t like him being hot and cold and he said “okkk I understand. It’s me.” After that he ignored my messages and didn’t even reply back when I asked him “why did you say it’s you?” I finally just told him “Well thanks for the memories, I’m sorry it didn’t work out. I thought we had something. Take care.” In the end I wasn’t sure if he lost interest ? or if he was scared as hell and pulling back. Either way, I think we were both to blame for this breakup. I learned a lot from it and this video is helpful to me in moving on with my life. Thank you.

I had the same thing happen last month after I called out a guy I was dating for 3-4 months. (One month not seeing each other due to quarantine) I didn’t feel the natural progression. We were around 8-10 dates. He was avoidant. He was doing the slow fade. I felt I was starting to put in too much effort just to see if he would open up, but he never did. I didn’t want to come off “needy” and didn’t call him out on his avoidant behaviors early on because he was depressed over not seeing his kids. This was a huge eye opener for me! Okay, so let me just say. That if you watch dating coaches give advice for men, about "What to do if she pulls away?" The women litterally give men the exact same advice. They tell the man that the woman should chase him, and invest in him. And he needs to be more busy in the world where he might meet another woman so that there is a risk that she might loose him. Why are coaching telling men that women should be chasing them?? How da fuq is anyone going to get to a relationship?
I have done that w men also....you have to spend time w someone b4 you get to know them and sometimes it takes a while....especially if you are attracted to them....but usually w women they are using men for money, meals, gifts, or trips...men will just use women for sex and companionship and lie about the future
Maybe not doing it intentionally, but a grown man who pursues and activates your emotional involvement and takes your time for weeks or months and is not intentional in his decisions and actions is either just using the woman for attention, ego gratification or sex OR he is clueless and not relationship-worthy.
