I have been using this pellet grill for over 1 year and I love it!!!~ Perfect size for just the 2 of us. It is kinda heavy for traveling but it works fantastic!!!!~~
Tom, are you letting the cold in thru the doorway at your sons house? Can you do another video with the snow included! Keep your awesome videos coming!
This design gets the job done. There are so many Chinese made versions of this grill. I think Traeger had the first one. For portability, they all work. I'd just go for the best price you can find. I got one of the first ASmokes on a crowd funding campaign for $150 and it came with a bunch of extras triggered by Stretch Goals. I have no regrets. I have to say one thing about ASmoke, their apple pellets are great (some came with the grill), but way too expensive.
Thanks for Watching! I too had the Smoke Daddy portable, which isn’t sold anywhere, one difference is the smoke daddy has a bigger hood to it can hold taller meats. I struggled with the PID on the smoke daddy which why on the later models they put daisy wheels on the top of the grill. The PID in the Pitboss dials in very nicely
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQI own one that I bought in early 2021. The temp swings can be pretty bad in some cases. But overall a nice little smoker if you know how to work past its kinks.

Thanks for Watching James! It’s a garage door, not at my son’s house…

Thanks for Watching Ted! The Asmoke Portable pellet grills I had worked well also
Tom, how does this compare to smoke daddy portable? I have the smoke daddy and love it!

That’s a nice pellet grill (portable). The bone-in are SO much better 😋
Thanks for Watching Eric! Agreed!
Cool
Thanks for Watching!
been a while since I've seen aluminum foil reference
Ok…
I don’t believe these are PID controlled. Unless you did the upgrade yourself.
Thanks for Watching! I didn’t do any upgrades to this grill

Thanks for Watching….
So this is better then the asmoke500
Thanks for Watching! What I can see is the Asmoke500 isn’t a portable pellet grill……
