Well, the flying rubber dog poo is funny. I'm 51 and can't believe how long ago Top Gun came out. Was in 8th grade. So this highlights Tom's playfulness and abilities to have a positive attitude. Our military people are needing more public support and respect. The sacrifice is the ultimate for our freedoms.
Man, I don't care what anybody says so far I have seen Top Gun Maverick 11 times and even though I have seen it 11 times I'm still sobbing uncontrollably during certain scenes ..one of those scenes is when Maverick and Rooster are hugging. 😭
It had been quite some time since I watched a film at the cinema that had me at the edge of my seat for pretty much the entire runtime. This move was an experience. Something we sadly don't get much of these days.
Great edit!! One of the best films I've seen in a while. Great characters, action and soundtrack, just very well made. Old fashioned and not an ounce of liberal or political mess to drag it down!

original top gun was much better so much happened and a lot of fun it showed the planes in their glory even if that is NOT how BVR fights look but original top gun was more well written more stuff happening lots of close in fighting with guns original top gun action flowed so well together as a piece it was better and some romance too
