  • SCI-FI Fourth of July Fireworks from Celebration Florida, 2017.
This show is synced to music. Our viewing location didn't have any way to hear it but occasionally you can hear it lightly. This video also contains 360 Audio.
This is a 360 video. To get the best view, switch to a higher image size and let it buffer (many will find 2166 works best for their internet but higher is better if available). Move the screen around, view from mobile device or for best experience, use google cardboard or VR glasses.
Recorded: July 4, 2017 at Celebration, Resident viewing location.

Unlike your prior videos that I've attempted to view, this one successfully worked on my Samsung Oculus Gear VR. Hopefully you can maybe work out Happily Ever After Fireworks show in the same format.

I have some dialog opened with people(youtube mostly) about this. They are encoded exactly the same except the ambisonic audio which requires different audio encoding. I also picked up a gear VR and I see what your talking about. Standalone headsets, google cardboard, google dream maker, etc all play it fine. It's the samsung, samsung gear vr, samsung internet combo that seems to be where it goes wonky. It's a pain but if you use "Package Disabler" from play store, you can disable the gear vr software and use the headset with stock youtube app / google cardboard app and it does play correctly. It's annoying and I'm working on a perm fix. I'm working with the camera mgfr also on some improvements for "theme parks are just darker" and it's getting better so once that gets sorted out, I'll be doing some updated 360 recordings of all the night entertainment. And again, thanks for pointing this out!

Well Looked into you suggestion, and All your old videos successfully worked using the Package Disabler work around.... Only problems, using the TH-cam App even in the phones Entertainment Mode to allow max resolution will only allow one to view the videos in 1440HD... It seems, that Samsung like being big jerks. TH-cam videos played on Samsung Internet for VR as well as for Oculus Internet will play 4k videos... Still being finally able to watch your videos even in 1440HD was awesome.
So here is what is funny, you might not have changed anything, but ECV Tour, Fourth of July 2017 fireworks, and Disney's Celebrate America, all worked on the Oculus Gear VR in 4k without issue... So I don't know what to say on that... This technology is so damn finicky... Keep up all the good work.

I just discovered youtube doesn't really notify me when you reply again, I'll get the hang of how this stuff works soon enough. Just wanted to add, I grabbed some other headsets from amazon recently. I kind of want to do a how to watch these videos with minimal cost vlog fairly soon. I was surprised how many came up for under $10 that used to be in the 40-60 range. I don't know what your budget is, but for youtube watching, I've just been using a generic headset with headphones I can quickly put my phone in and watch without much effort. It's also why there is usually a 10-15 second lead in so you can get it on by the time the video actually gets going.
