To be fair, that's why fight scenes with a single character against many are _usually_ shot that way. In reality, there would be no way for Vader to win if they all attacked at once. I mean, yes, he could use the Force and send them all flying against the wall and kill them that way, but this team had a limited budget and couldn't hire ILM to do those kinds of effects. :)
First to everybody who has criticized the acting - these are fans, not high paid international/Hollywood actors. A group of people who like Star Wars and wanted to do something noncommercial and fun. I appreciate their efforts and can see it for what it is. Second, thanks for going through all the hard work to make this film and to record it in 360. I enjoyed the experience. I only have a little film making and editing experience, but I know a lot of work goes into making a film, even a short one. Overall, I think you have succeeded in what you set out to do. Finally, to all the haters, why don't you offer to help the fans who made this short film do a remake?

Well, I wanted to add imperial star destroyers in the end sequence, but due to time stretch didn't happen. It would definitely add to the feel of Empire growing in its strength. I admit republic colors shouldn't be there, we wanted to add colors to the scene but didn't realize, that repainting would be possibly the first thing to change.

Vader is being taught the ways of the dark side still and the empire is freshly formed. All the clone wars ships and stuff were redone for the Empire, this is just before that. This is a pretty impressively made short film, however, I personally cannot justify why it has to be in 360 VR. All the action and story moments take place in one area at a time and in clear view without requiring the viewer to look around. This I feel misses the point of VR of making the viewer feel like they are IN the action and observing the world. Otherwise they're just sitting back and watching from a distance like a general movie.
