Thank you for an excellent job in your videos. Can't thank you enough!! As a Helix owner myself, I've learned a few things just from watching your video.
Hey. How long did it take to arrive. Some ppl are saying it’s a scam. And just a q if anything goes wrong are you able to get it fixed for free? If so, where!
@@sun4992 If you are concerned about not arriving or wait, there are some new ones in the market that owners want to sell. Ebay is a source. Craigslist is another sources. As far as I can tell, these are being advertised for no more than current prices.
If you keep the handlebar up when it’s folded, can you kind of push it around like a trolley that way? That’s usually how I take my brompton folded, it’s really comfortable
I would just lock the bike up but pretty convenient to be able to roll it around like that if there isn’t a place to lock it up or if your in a bad area and don’t wanna risk it.
it's an amazing video man. can you make a closer looks video about all the hinges mechanism, the durability of the hinges, and all that stuff? is that possible to change the chain and the gear with carbon belt? what about electric rear hub? and what's the cons of helix? sorry I got a lot of questions. im really excited about this bike 😁
Backpack loaded bruh! Haha.. that bike got a derailleur though, be careful jumping around on it. Hope you know what to do to put your chain back on if it pops off. Easy
Hey man. Great videos. How is your Helix Bike holding up a year or so later? I like the idea of it, but it;s circa £2500. A brompton is about £900, an electric Flit 16 is £1900, and a Fubi Fixie is only £600. Is it worth the price?
Me too, still waiting for ours to come next month. Enjoyed your video with my wife too, great video and informative. Would love to know a little more on how it handle in rough terrain. Yet, your video is still informative. It is a wonderful folding bike from what we have learned so far. Some people also have gotten a nice suitcase for the bike for travel. Can't wait for ours!
Raymond, is "next month" consistent with this 2019 paragraph on their website? "As of now, we are working on delivering up to bike 200 by mid October. Bikes 200-300 will be delivered by mid November. After that I believe we will transition to 130-150 bikes per month and will continue increasing our production rate to deliver all orders by spring 2020." Geez, I cannot begin to calculate when my order in the 1700's might be delivered.
Cool bike for a 24" option, but the price is insane. You can get an e-bike for that price now although it weight twice as much due to batteries. Helix took way too long to get their product out. 4 years ago e-bikes weren't really mainstream. I wanted this bike when it was at kickstarter price ($1800), but now its just not worth it ($3000+). I could get the upcoming e-bike for commute and a Lift bike for recreation from a company called Revelo at that price, unless 24" and titanium is a requirement. I feel Helix really dropped the ball on this one, but still a cool folding bike considering there's few compromise to a regular bike. Price is just the only insane factor.
Hello!I'm thinking of buying this bike for my sister.Which model do you have out of the 3 model types? 10 speed derailleur: 27.6" to 90.5" 11 speed Alfine: 22" to 89.9" single speed: 55.3"
Haha, not so fast. This bike is being produced VERY SLOWLY so you probably did the right thing by waiting it out. I'd wait until it is readily available.
@@realMDizzy - on the flip side of things, at least I'd have paid $1,300 or so for it. Besides, my name here is the same as on bikeforums.net, and I'd have been one of the first people in on this, so I'd have had my bike already. 😉
So they made a weaker Montague Paratrooper that takes longer to fold. Instead of a 3 year wait you could have waited 2 weeks for a paratrooper to be shipped to your door.
Just checked that out. It is a pretty cool bike but even though fold/unfold times might be similar I don't want to be holding my wheel in my other hand while rolling the other part of the bike around wherever I'm at. To be fair when we backed this bike we were informed that it would be shipping months after backing, no one thought it would take this long even factoring in delays. Trust me when I say, NO ONE is happy about the wait. This is no mountain bike with shocks so I don't know if it is fair to compare. This is a 21 lb folder that probably more rivals the street oriented folders. For street riding I can tell you this thing is way more solid than my Dahon.
I find that the handle bar twist knob rubs the rear derailleur tightening screw area. Did adding the new handle bars help with this? I would imagine it did not since on my helix it's the actual knob rubbing against the derailleur lock screw.
One of the best folding bikes ever.

Also, Helix warranty is excellent. YOu can just send it back to them to fix.
2 Music Lover aw that’s great. So you deliver it back to the makers? Is there usually a change for this?
@@sun4992 You likely pay shipping. But Helix warranty should be fantastic.
Could you retrofit the helix bike with an electric hub motor kit and still get it to fold?
Great, great video! I never knew Chips 'Ahoy came in all those styles!
I am still waiting for mine 😫😭...please make more videos for all of us still waiting. Thanks a lot, enjoyed all ur Helix’s vids...
I have been waiting for years to see fresh user video of the HELIX! Thanks for sharing and enjoy that sweet bike. Cheers, -> #SeattleRingHunter
Check my other videos, I have 2 more Helix ones.
You seem to have only review of this bike. Im looking for a travel bike and this one i keep coming back to but any update of the bike? Thanks

Thanks for the review very helpful
I have been waiting 2 1/2 months for my bike, is that normal for helix? Also they don't really update their portal on my delivery status much
Is that normal based on your experience?
Do you have a video on how to replace a flat on this bike while riding? is it possible to replace it without too many tools?
do you have a link for the riser bar?
did you have to adjust the cables when you switched to the higher bar?
Thanks for sharing. Looks great.
Brompton i think is more convenient coz it comes with grocery bag . Helix is great option tho

do you have opinion on the same bike but with internal hub type coz I am thinking getting one. Thanks

Does it have fenders for rainy days?
Bro ,what is the max load for this bike , 120 kg?

I own the 10 speed derailleur type.
I was kinda hoping you were stopping at the hardware store to figure out a way to carry even more cookies home.
How much??
Looks a nice bike, but I'd not swap it for my SL Brompton. Which cost me £1760 with most of the boxes ticked.
Yum! Cookies! 🤣
Cookie Monster.
Aqui en panama existe dime
Sepeda mantap punya om...kalau bosan saya siap nampung Om😁
How much did this bike cost you?
The lowest 1 speed costs 3k on their website
腳踏版可以拆,別像我撞來撞去,你自己走路也不會小腿撞到,腳踏版是台灣的解決方案,注意要提早打一些油進去,以免有異常的聲音(踩踏異音)

I am so experiencing remorse right now,...remorse for NOT backing this bike. I luv it,...

djk 101 No. You probably wouldn’t. There are hundreds of backers and purchasers that have not received anything.
I wish I can afford that kind of bike :(
20,000 bucks? What
Bro, looks good; bali/tiklop; still too slow, butt it is folding is the point*
