thank you so much man ! my speaker was locked up and not working for over a year ! this is the ONLY video that worked for me ! bluetooth and volume up is what worked for me !
What you did is turn on Demo mode, which allows for stores to put it up on display without having to worry about people connecting to it via bluetooth or turning off the DSP
as I go back to normal mode?????
How does one remove it from demo mode please?

All this does is reset it,, it's not a secret some people commented about demo mode I don't know if it has one but my best guess is to try and reset it like this and if that helps.

My JBL Flip 5 sounds great when it works. The problem is that it's very unintuitive to use and wastes hours of time trying to get it to do anything. Either JBL doesn't know how or didn't want to manufacture a user friendly product when they designed these speakers. After reading the comments below I can see I'm not the only who isn't able to enjoy it.
Because these codes are not meant to be used by the consumer for regular use they’re debug codes so developers can work on them while in testing they were never meant to be found by consumers

I did the lock test on my JBL Charge 3 and it locked and now I can't unlock it but it won't turn on.
After doing it I noticed that they are different models.
Now it doesn't turn on and I can't rewrite the codes. I imagine it must be on to accept them.
Of these a year ago...

Hi, I'm blind, and cannot see your video. So I have two questions, will this technique work with the clip 4? Also, will this allow me to evoke a triple press of the play pause button to go back a track? By default, it lets me go forward tracks, but I can't go back, what the heck? If the technique you showed will in fact allow me to be able to go back tracks, what exactly do I do, I can't see the instructions of the video on screen.

In iPhone or android, take a peak at the accessibility options under settings. Voiceover is the screenreader for iOS and mac, and Talkback is the screenreader for android.

I blocked my JBL charge 4 by pressing the Bluetooth and the pause button as you do in the video, but now I can't unblock it.

@@n1p068 I fixed it by plugging in it to the charger and while it was playing music via aux I hold Bluetooth and volume down until it shut down. Then I unplugg everything and turn it on as normal.

That isnt low frequency mode, that is debug mode to help diagnose the speaker, and it can cause damages to the speaker
Only if you use an eq (short for equalizer)

You should consider changing your intro. That makes your channel not family friendly.
In case for who was have this problem
Symptoms:
It will only turn on by attaching power, and it immediately turns off when removing power, making the power on and off sounds
None of the buttons do anything if not showing the current power level
Charging works
Audio via jack port works, when powered
How to fix it:
Attach power and disconnect immediately: the speaker should stay on
Press “JBL connect” and “Volume Up” together for ~5-10 seconds

Does low frequency mode work for jbl charge 5?
no new gens. JBL don't have it but don't do it on other JBL speakers that still have it... it's actaully called DSP... Low Freqency mode is just a youtube meme... the sound will not be better or lower. Just more distorted and the speakers will flex more... what can likely break your speaker. This mode is for the JBL Developers or something like that to test them.

my jbl go Essential the lfm is not working I pressed minus plus bluetooth and the jbl shut down but when i power him nothing is differient but once I didn't activate it and it simply activated but I couldn't activate it anymore

Can anybody answer me why the USB cable that comes with it isn't your standard cable? I can't find a box to plug it into
just use it as a usb. it’s made that way it don’t have to fit in a certain way
@@Ormagoden94 I'm talking about the cable it comes with , the side of the cable that's supposed to go into The wall (block) it doesn't actually fit into any blocks. Even the store rep said i need a special usb block they don't carry.
