The opening of the event was a bittersweet moment for Guzzon, who showcased her prowess by securing the pole position. She dominated the first heat of the race, establishing a remarkable 11.9-second lead over Thomas Ruberto. However, both Guzzon and Ruberto were penalized with a 20-second deduction due to an early start, ultimately handing the victory to pole-sitter Mattia Simoni.
