I would be excited for a Nuzlocke from Jon. I'd rather it be one of the older generations that he's familiar with (and besides, there were a couple of places in this early game where fainting seemed almost unavoidable). But "Many a True Nuzlocke" as a series title is too good to waste.

It's a shame really. Obviously the pokemon games are kids games. They always have been and always will be. But surely Game Freak isn't oblivious to the fact that a large majority of their fans were 90's or 00's kids not these precious 10's kiddos. Surely we're at a point where Game freak can put in an option alongside the name and gender choices at the start to turn off hints or hand holding in general through out a play through such like this, "Is this your first pokemon adventure; Yes or No?" then if you click Yes it moves straight on to the gameplay but if you click No then one last question asking if you want hints disabled pops up giving you that option to bypass the handholding. It would surely make the more proud fans and older ones happy that they are treated with the respect of the "this ain't my first rodeo." mentality. Edit: or better yet instead of turn off hints something that asks if you want to play "classic" pokemon or not which would have a closer feel to the early gen games in general.
Unfortunately not, but it can be fully evolved at 20! Charjabug evolves via thunderstone now and doesn't really learn anything that great during that evolution, so you can get a nice power bump by jumping right to vikivolt at 20 (when you find the thunderstone in the wild area)
Hey just as a heads up all is not lost! The cities have been moved around a bit, that's all. The map of the UK is rotated 180°. The town above the port one and below the snowy one is actually based on Llandudno!

Jon, a few things you should know about the wild area: It’s very large and completely open world. There are no barriers and you can go wherever you want as soon as you get there. Some parts of the wild area are very high leveled though, but you can find a lot of really good items if you look around. “Ws” are Watts which earn from raid battles and glowing Pokémon, you can spend Watts at the Watt Traders (guys wearing white) around the wild area to buy TRs (single use TMs). The Watt Traders’ stock changes daily. The Pokémon available in the wild area is based on the current weather which also changes daily, but almost any Pokémon can appear in raid battles regardless of weather. As for raid battles, a set number will appear around the wild area and more of them will appear once all of them have been cleared. The appearance of stronger Pokémon in raid battles is tied to story progression. In total there is a huge number of Pokémon in the wild area, some of which can only be acquired there.
