Great fast card that is great for mass producing for people like me ho make cards all year to give to cancer patients. We did good this year Cathy, we had over 5000 cards. I did want to tease you, but I feel like I know your personality, however you don't know me at all. So just know I am teasing when I say Suuuurrreee the back of the tape didn't want to come off, we know you were just pausing a moment so we all can see just how pretty your wedding ring is, 🤩even after all these years. Professor is a very smart man. Best investments are in your family.
Ha! Isn't it funny how I look at that ring and think: What was I thinking? I only say that because the trend changed into much simpler designs over the years. My daughter loves my ring, which i think is sweet.
@@czdesign I love it but I feel like we are in the same age range. It's human though, for us to never be quite content with what we have right. Hubby and I, just celebrated our 25th anniv and he bought me the white gold look which is so popular now. I'm sure it will go back to yellow gold again before long though. Now days those man made diamonds can be very close to perfect when cut correctly though. You just never know what they will come out with next, right.
Good choice at the end, the evenly spread gold looks more balanced than the two O's at the top with the star. Maybe next time you use low tack tape for masking, make it longer than needed and press the two ends down on the mat either side of the card so it holds still that way.
Super cute! I love it! That is a great set of dies & it really is perfect for what you did with it. I have a cover plate from Gina K that says Peace, Love, Joy. I’m gonna use it to try something similar. Love the colors, & the bright bits of gold you added are perfect!
I absolutely love this! I’m looking at your Christmas card playlist to find a simple design for this Christmas to send special family and friends. You have such great examples. I haven’t boarded the embossing train yet, so that limits the choices as well😂😊

Great card and great idea about not cutting the die apart. I do that with lots of dies - prevents loss! You may be doing it and just not showing it, but just in case - if you burnish the scoretape with your silicone bone folder the backing will release much easier. 😁
Why didn't you turn the card over to adhere the blended background. You wouldn't be 2nd guessing whether you had it in the right spot or not. I absolutely love this card.

Very cute & fun! I love that you could do this (or similar) with alphabet dies you might already have. Is that fig branch O & J you’re wearing? Does your pin ever get stuck in your glue? I had the head come off of a sewing pin recently & had to grab my needle nose pliers to remove the headless pin! 😂❤️
Card, love the little bits of bling - Score tape, while it's a friend in the way it holds, it can be a foe to get the backing off - I've learned a quick once over with my bone folder helps the backing to come off easily. Sending Peace, Joy, Love and Christmas Blessings to you and your family.
I am a little confused. When I looked up the die it was not on the same order as the one you used. I like the order of yours because it makes me think of a tree. Are there options on the way the words are put in the fire?
The picture on MFT is a little confusing. I have this die too, and it's just like the one that Cathy used in her video. Joy at the top, then love, then Christmas, then peace.
If you see how it looks in my video, that is literally how it comes in the package. They are meant to be cut apart, so I'm not sure why MFT Stamps preview image looks like that. : )

Hey Cathy, remind me what it is you do to take care of the little paper fuzzies on the edge of your die cuts. I have seen you do it, but for the life of me can't remember what you use.
Such a "devil may care attitude" today/yesterday! - Not saving the pieces, maybe the pencil marks will show...is this attitude for sale? 'Cause I need it in my life. (But now I see you did erase.) As always, such a cute card and this die is sold out at SSS!
Honestly? I wish I had a better answer. lol! Sometimes it's just feel! I wanted these colors to be a bit more saturated and bright. Sometimes I think the regular formula is a bit brighter than the oxides. : ) And I hadn't used these for blending in a while!

Great idea! May I ask a question about your die cutting machines? I have a Gemini Jr. and was considering getting a Spellbinders Platinum 6. The Gemini Jr. leaves impression marks 80% of the time when it cuts things. Not all dies do it but just most. Tried switching out my sandwich by taking out the plastic shim and it didn’t cut at all. These marks are unsightly and get on my nerves. Does your Gemini Jr. do that? Does your spellbinders platinum do that? For example: if i had cut out all those letters/words like you did each letter would’ve had an impression around the die cut area. Looks bad☹️ Thanks.

Burnish the heck out of your Sookwang tape and it'll be much easier to lift the ends to get the release paper to...well, release.

It's actually Cozy Up! And yes it feels tight sometimes and I have to yank it out but so far it hasn't stuck.

I use Elmer's CraftBond Spray Adhesive - ldli.co/e/zr1oqop
Hey Cathy, remind me what it is you do to take care of the little paper fuzzies on the edge of your die cuts. I have seen you do it, but for the life of me can't remember what you use.
You can scrape around the cut edges with a dull blade and then you can use low tack tape to pick up all the excess paper that sticks.

I think both of my machines do that to some extent. I think it might be the nature of die cutting?
