Another card crafting youtuber put me onto Un-du which doesn't hurt anything you use it on but does temporarily remove the adhesion. So when I need to reposition something I just use that and then let it dry! Then it's as good a new! It's saved MANY cards.

Its a shame you didn't do the whole panel unmasked. You could still have cut the area you wanted and probably got a second card out of it. The card looks great btw.

I was a teenager in the late 60s and early 70s. I think I had a pair of bell bottoms in the pink floral print. Seriously. Loved growing up in that era.

Between my husband and his kids I got $1000 in Amazon gift cards. I haven’t spent much of it. I did get a bundle of tiny squirrel brushes and a beginners calligraphy set. I’ve been wanting to try my hand at it for years. I finally invested in a good set. I mean, shoot, I could even buy furniture with that much. I told them about Simon Says, but I guess it was easier to get the Amazon cards. Lol. Happy New Year to my best mentor!
Adorable card. I like that set-it’s a great one. I didn’t consider masking it, not sure why that didn’t occur to me. My goal this year is to use my supplies a lot more. I’m off to a good start so far. Not sure why I picked a bigger project to kick that into motion, but I did. I’m making a card/notecard holder and 3 note cards, X6 for my team at work. I’m getting there. Thought about laminating the holder part, but then I don’t know if I should score tape the edges down first and the pockets, then go back with a knife to slit the pockets, or laminate the entire thing and hope the score tape will hold well on the laminated surface. Still deciding. I have a couple more steps on the cards first before I have to make a decision. I’m glad you like the white tip on the Studio Katia tool-it helps a lot. Well, here we go into a new year. Buckle your seatbelt and make sure your seat is and tray table is secured in the upright position-Lol! Happy New Year Cathy! Looking forward to a new year of videos. In fact, I checked out your new web page, read your awesome story, and discovered you have a typography/font class. Adding it to my list for this year. I don’t think I have any silver cardstock, but it got me thinking. If I were to create silver with embossing powder, I wonder if it would be better to precut the item to be embossed or create the silver cardstock first & then diecut? Sounds like a good experiment! 😊❤️
I think my new machine IS a bit harder to crank so I need to balance it out with my Gemini! You could totally create the die cut, then coat it with embossing ink and throw on silver powder. Jennifer McG has done that a lot!!!
Cathy, you are such a dainty crafter! You never seem to get anything on you. I bought some Elmers spray to glue some snowflakes together for dimension. It stuck to my fingers, my fingers stuck to the snowflakes and when I tried to get them aligned, a layer of the card stock came off! (Ok, i guess i pulled them apart to try to get better alignment....) I guess practice makes perfect, but you make it seem so effortless. Ever since I heard you says it, my mantra has been, "its only paper".

Love it!! If you want to move something you have attached with foam squares or tape, heat it with a heat tool and you can reposition it.
