This is a 15 episode series of Spiti tour, Spiti tour dates - (22nd Jun - 7th July 2021 we entered through Shimla and exited from Manali.

Below are the places which we have covered on our 6th day of the Spiti Tour, Hope you will enjoy this episode. Date of Journey - 28th June 2021.
Hotel - Nako Lake view, we paid Rs 1500 for Double occupancy. Nako village Altitude - 12000 ft.
We saw the folk dance, paid Rs 5000, organised by the hotel staff, the experience was good.
After that we went to the Ancient Monastery, which is said to be 1000 years old, Videography & photography is prohibited,
Then we proceed to Tabo, on your way to tabo, after 20 km, place called Sumdo, where kinnaur region end here, Spiti starts,
There is an entry checkpoint, you need to mention some details there. After 2 km from there is turning for Monastery of Gue mummy, from that turning we reach Gue mummy monastery.
Gue Mummy Monastery - This monastery has a mummy of Buddhist monk which is said to be from the 15th century. There is no mobile network of any operator, BSNL network comes 8 km from here.
Overnight stay at Tabo, We stayed at Piggy Homestay in Tabo, Rs 1000 for double occupancy.
We also had local food in dinner - Churpe Soup Rs 50 & Chhutrik Rs 200

Beautiful part of our India. Proud to be Indian for such a rich heritage, culture. Monestery is one of our ancient places of worshipers. The way of finding ultimate peace thru these places. Also breathtaking views of locations surrounded by mountains covered by Ice on the top. After watching Spiti Valley tour our excitement grown beyond our control. But also we need good planning to be there for real enjoyment. So we are planning Spiti Valley tour next year with a hope of Covid free environment. Saw notification of Kokan trip..! Welcome to Maharashtra once again..! There are so many Coastal forts in Kokan, famous tamples, beaches..it can be tricky to add Mahabaleshwar since it is hill station but Matheran, Mahabaleshwar, and some forts like Raigad, Rajgad,(if u want to do trekking) are very beautiful in this monsoon weather..!

I have done the whole spiti tour twice... Once with Friends in September 2014 when we were having limited days so entered from Manali and reached Kaza via chandertal and went upto nako and back to manali and second time with family in June 2019 when started from Shimla and couldn't reach manali via chandertal due to snow so reached upto kaza and again back to Shimla... Both tiurs were amazing... Harishji you are really in heaven... We are also enjoying your journey

What is truthfully amazing to us is the way you take your safe travel route, meet local people, persuade them to describe their local history and explore the local food are very unique. Yes, some of the valleys and mountain peaks are breath taking! The amount of hardship you encounter while exploring those various remote places are purely magnanimous and we are very much thankful to you. Take care and stay safe.

I must admit that your content is getting richer day by day. And of course the videography is much better than earlier.
I had no knowledge about presence of self mummification in this area. I travelled way back in 1997 starting from Shimla to Manali through Narkanda, Sarahan, Sangla, Kalpa, Puh, Yangthang, Nako, Tabo, Kaza, Kunzum la. It was 15 days tour... accommodation was very scare in those days. I stayed inside the Tabo monestry for one night. It was dream tour.

Our tour guide did not manage the trip well. So i would like to visit Spiti Valley on my own next time. He first told me about this Mummy Place in Gue but we couldn't visit it because of very mismanaged schedule.
