I hate how people assume things. No one will ever know unless she says something. Maybe a close family had passed away and her family needed her, maybe she got a very bad injury that made it to where she couldn't perform anymore. We will never know, we should just give Jinni privacy.
@@briaaberry yea. But think about it. Pretend you’re a Kpop idol. You gonna have a comeback. They present you the song and you hate it. The more you listen to it , the more you hate it. Now imagine having to memorize the song, incorporate the lyrics and learn the choreography. And then after months of practice. You finally record and release the song. You will now have to perform this song for the rest of your career. In concerts, radio shows, special events,etc. you wait for a new comeback anxiously hoping it’s better. Now a single comeback is different each time. And it’s normal for idols to not like a certain title track. But in this case, it’s the concept. Imagine training for many years, and you don’t like the concept. Now you have to live with this concept. When people think of you, they will think of the concept. When Jinni joined JYPE, Twice had recently debuted and then itzy debuted. Not to mention wonder girls and miss a. Jinni was probably expecting something like that . Instead they got a completely different sound. So even if Jinni trained for many years, she may have lost passion for music because she’s performing music that she’s not happy with. Nmixx is not popular and is not on the same level as the other 4th gen girl groups. Not saying that the girls are not talented. Just saying that concept, music direction, and marketing is not on the girls side. Just what I observed.
