Long story short: we found this little black devil on the street, running in between the cars, almost got ran over. We caught him in time and took him with us.
The kitten is timid and is not used to be around people so it was a hard time catching him, after we released him in our house.

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray animals is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 7 cats at home, all rescued from the streets. Bulgaria is a small country with lots of stray animals and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray animals with the help of Dessy's mom. I have one who was like this. I just left her alone, and after a couple of days of completely avoiding me, she finally decided I was cool.
It's probably not good to chase the kitten around. You might find it funny, but it's scary for the kitten.
Not to be too critical - it's great that you saved a kitten, but you seem like you want to be nice, and I've found that just leaving a traumatized kitten be is the best way to get her to calm down.
Give the little dude 48 hours to explore his surrounding then he'll chill out.
You need to put a towel or pillowcase that has your smell under the plate of food. The little tyke will associate your smell with food. This also helps feral cats to associate you with a life necessity.

@@PawMeowteach him to associate your hands and fingers for positive things like food, treats and affection. Poor baby has had it tough. Everything is bigger than he is and is a threat. Love and kindness wins
This is a kitten, I'm sure before too long it'll be acting like it owns the place.
No offense, but "associate human scent with food" sounds like a good way to have a not yet socialized rescue start chewing your face while you sleep...

I have no idea why, but my last, and my current, black cat: whack jobs. My last liked to spot a trick you were about to play, and turn the tables. This one sets most of her attacks from mirrors.
@@busterdee8228 as a black cat owner myself they are so smart you almost have to treat them like children. My cat Siam is the smartest cat I've ever seen. Cat 2.0!
This is our latest rescue, we found him running on the road, almost got hit by a few cars but luckily we caught him. We will upload his whole story soon.

He's a little darling if a bit hissy and bitey to start with but soon learned that humans aren't all bad. His purrs at the end of the video were so heartwarming. Thank you for rescuing and saving him from getting run over.

I also have a 17 year old black cat named Brickette. When I found her she was about 5 ounces and could barely walk. Reeked of cigarette smoke. She was obviously dumped. Took her all of 4 months to become the ruler of the other cats (2 males, about 6 months older than her).
I had a little blind black kitten that I called "Captain Midnight" which was eventually shortened to just "Midnight." He was such a sweet kitten and cat.😊👍

Barn cats will act that way as well, they can warm up to humans, but we call them "scats" until they do.

This are the real animal "rescue videos", the kitty is already on safe place and happy, we need to support this kind of content and not the videos where the animal is in danger/suffering but they take their time to record a video right there.

Reminds me of a kitten I rescued about seven years ago. He did not want to come in the house but when I put him in my lap, he did not want to leave. Fortunately, some friends of mine adopted him.

That day I took him to my friends, my cat Mooch was in my lap and the kitten was jealous so he stretched across the other cat.
Once the little ones get a taste of the cuddly pampered life, they usually sign right on, even if they pretend not to like it for a little while longer 😂

Well, Amen to that! I hate getting tricked into clicking on a TH-cam video about a supposed animal rescue, when they deliberately put an animal in dirt and danger, to film it and make a buck. They probably kick the animal to the road after they shoot the video. It is a complex world out there, and you GOTTA BE REALLY CAREFUL THAT YOU ARE CLICKING ON A GENUINE RESCUE, AND ARE NOT SUPPORTING ANIMAL CRUELTY BY SOME SICK INDIVIDUALS!! BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU CLICK, TH-camRS!
@@freebird4977 I'm talking about those staged animal rescue channels based in (what I assume) India &/or some other Southern Asian country/countries where they put animals in distressing situations for likes, views, fans, & clout! 1 Example is a video of some kids "rescuing" a puppy that got "attacked by a bigger dog", however, the wound looks absolutely nothing like a dog bite, which means those kids likely stabbed the puppy on purpose, & there are/were many other videos of people "finding" & "rescuing" animals in impossible situations that wouldn't (or very rarely) possibly happen in nature! A few other examples of this include 1 where a puppy (which looks to be a border collie, which makes me sad cause I LOVE collies) is entangled (and I mean completely immobilized) in a net in a fort of chairs, another where a puppy somehow had his mouth tied shut & got trapped under a rock (not to mention @ 1 point in that video, they literally smack the poor helpless puppy), & many snake attack videos! In 1 of these snake videos there is a puppy getting attacked by (what appears to be) a king cobra WHICH HAS ENOUGH VENOM TO KILL A FULLY GROWN ELEPHANT, so the poor puppy dog likely didn't survive 4 very long after this. I H8 THAT THESE EXIST & THAT PEOPLE ARE FALLING FOR THEM AS I AM A SUCKER 4 ANIMALS!

Please unplug the recliner chair! I beg of you. We had a terrible accident a few years back with a kitten getting caught in the mechanism when a family member used it. She's fine now but the little kitten scream was horrific.

From what ive seen of other people resucing cats, they tend to place the cat in a room that is pretty bare and has no crawlspace for kittens to hide in until the rescued cat gets acclimated to the rescuers. I think its a nightmare to just release a kitten into your living room with so many inconvenience spaces for it to hide under. Especially with this house having electornics like computers and extension bars all over the floor where the kitten might pee or poop on it.
It's very kind of you to give it a chance to a black kitty, they can be as beautiful and lovable as other cats
