I think some may also prefer a private studio because they have social anxiety. If I had the clientele for it I would def open a private space.

How about if you have a private studio always as a back up or for more in-depth tattoos and you work in other people's shops as well ?

That might end up with conflict of interest when you might start to pull shops customers to your private thing which will happen one way or another. On other hand- if you have your private thing going and you help out some shop then that seems like a good deed

    shop- business over tattoos
private studio - tattoos over business
i didn't like to have employees, so a shop its a lot of work besides tattooing and thats the fucked up thing about it..

He said “it’s not professional in my opinion” good thing your opinion is just that… An opinion. With all the people working from home on a pc or doing hair or nails or whatever else… Are they not professional? Is an artist not professional b/c he paints in his garage rather than an art studio that he has to rent? Let’s be real.

You clearly don't get a point made in this conversation. And let's be real your point is pretty pointless and stupid - in my opinion. If you are professional who's work space is up to standards then it doesn't matter where you do it. If you are someone who just does nails hair or paints in their living room then they are hobbyists and most likely messing market up to people who have put some time, resources and effort in it.
