The first scene itself gives you the glimpse, when the husband shouts to shut the door properly but the wife bangs the keys in anger but the next moment she came back to double check the door.....deep down they both cared. Post retirement usually it is hard for couples to adjust as they are not used to be with each other the entire time, and get annoyed & frustrated. And do you realise when the moment lawyer agreed for their separation, they both went blank as if it came as a shock...since all they wanted was to vent out their frustrations..

For those who didn't get the ending clearly: As we can see the couple is fighting from the starting of the story. Firstly we couldn't get the reason for conflict between two because as they are not speaking to one another just giving rude looks only. As they get into the car we get a little idea about the dispute. Further, they go to an advocate for divorce and blaming each other for what's going on. They both are cursing each other and want to have peace for the rest of their lives. However at the end when some noise comes from the kitchen they both come to see if any of them has hurt himself or herself and that's what we call care. Even if they are tired of each other at this age but still care about one another. And the vase which is broken in the beginning now is fixed at the end which symbolizes their relationship has also get fixed.

for those who didn't get the ending:
after the sound of those vessels, they came running to see if someone fell in the kitchen and came to realise how much they care about each other, at the end the vase which was broken at first got fixed which is just like this situation which got fixed, at the end they didn't get separated. I can completely relate this with my parents..... Tears in eyes....it's really hard to find solutions in such circumstances..... But the reality is that both can't find any place without each other....

Beautiful movie indeed with thoughtful message. Yes as many here said it’s common in middle class families. But I have seen many upper class couples too the same being happening. Basically in Our country husband wife doesn’t spend quality time to know each other deeply and in true sense. Mostly they are bonded with each other due to rituals & they keep living together further for the sake of living. During young age they are busy with work, taking care of children. In later stage when actually they don’t have much responsibilities they look at each other as if that they are two poles apart. And then the problems creep in. I feel that apart from carrying on responsibilities the couple must take time out to know, understand each other, spare quality time together so that liking, love between them blossoms & towards the dawn of their life they are the best friends to each other being in dignity & respect towards partner’s emotions. Both the actors are amazing. Congratulations to the team👍👍💕💕

@@aniket4572 They are representing some hidden messages. White is flour, red is red chilli powder and yellow is turmeric commonly found in every household kithchen. But the inner meaning lies behind these colors is White relates to the death of their relationship, yellow represents the Haldi Ceremony done before marriages (new begining of their relationship) and Red symbolises Vermilion ( they get together forever).

It's all about your lifetime commitment for a person whom you feel good to live with forever. That person who matches your thoughts and way of thinking, one who is compatible for you.
Sex is still a taboo in rural India. But things are changing. Girls (more in numbers than boys) gets physical before marriage. Because people finds it important to check sexual compatibility too.
What a great act and a lesson. Even if the couple wanted to separate, God wouldn't allow as it is a true test of love and not a 20:20 match.
Two people are never the same no matter who they are. But we should always remember, hate and anger is very temporary but love and care stays for ever.

Believe me it can and will save this situation in your future. the characters also loved each other, but its just that they never said it to each other. Only fights were left for memories.
