I never loved you
Because you called me your
best friend.
But somewhere in between the late nights,
the city lights
the songs in the car we blasted
I fell for your soul
as a friend.
And I never loved you
But we shared each other's dreams,
aspirations,
and just about everything else in between.
You made me laugh so hard I cried;
my smile
classically conditioned to the sound of your name;
only you have that power.
But I never loved you
And wow maybe I'm to blame
Then again,
you never asked me out on a date
And yeah,
I guess 2am coffee counts
but I didn't realize you didn't need caffeine
for my presence to make your heart beat faster
because,
well, you never told me that it did.
And I never loved you,
but your presence was the only thing I wanted
You were my favorite anecdote
You always had me on my toes
never knowing what to expect next.
And that was great for a while
until you unexpectedly disappeared.
Our text messages got shorter,
our phone calls went extinct,
and your voice became a memory.
Now you're less than an acquaintance,
let alone a friend.
A stranger
who knows precisely how to make me laugh,
how to make me feel safe,
and frankly how to tick me off too.
Word on the street says you did it because
you thought I would never be open to the possibility of
you and me.
In actuality, you disappeared faster
than I could tell you the truth.
But months have gone by
and I guess it's too late.
I guess you'll never know
that somehow we managed to
friendzone each other.
And maybe if I had known then what I know now
maybe I could've done something different
But then again
maybe you held back because
you saw a future problem that I didn't.
So I guess this is
goodbye, friend.
This isn't what I wanted
but this is what you wanted,
so I let you go
Because I never loved you

Her voice... I miss her so much, her laughing always made me smile, slowly it's past month I never again her his voice, and out text message become look like a stranger meet for the first time... I don't know about this but still, I'm always be the person when she need the most, when she have problem, and I'm always support her no matter what happen even we cant even through this boundaries, and for her thanks already loving me....
This somehow made me miss someone but its weird i dont know whom ....another master piece and your no.1 fan here 🙆😊

Choose not to love anyone might be because you never knew what love is and are too scared to find out. It could also be that you know too damn well what it means to be in love with someone.
I tell myself that I never loved her, but I knew the day I met her is the day I learned what it means to love someone.

Hmm another heart wrenching poem. It did touch my soul. I lost mine due to "career is important as of now", "let me slog my ass and work to make our future better". I thought that was the way I could make the ones I love more happy in the future forgetting how I could have been in the moment and loved. I am sorry to myself and my "alone"-ness not loneliness. I was dumb. As you said, they got to know the future which wouldn't workout between. This poem made me cry shit loads, yet giving me a life lesson of "how I shouldn't be". I can't say sorry to the person 'cause it's like hurting them twice, but through this comment, I say SORRY for being shit in your life. If possible forgive me. Luna, you my friend, thank you for being my therapist from god knows which place. As always, thanks for existing ❤️.

Just recently got broken up with by the only girl ive ever known who made me feel like I was worth something and that I could be loved and after so long of being her best friend she wants to be friend still but I can’t handle it some times I wish she could still be the same person she was to me I want to be hers and to have her be by my side to have her be the sun that rises for me every single morning that brings me that sun shine everyone hopes for in the morning but I don’t think there will ever be another light that brightens up my day the way she did and I think what ever spark for me that was left faded over time listening to ur poems helps me willingly be sad when I don’t allow myself to be so thank you
It’s surprisingly hard to let your self have a full on cry fest when ya hold in every tear u can subconsciously to be big man

listening to this makes me realize how much i love my best friend soon i will be leaving the country to go study in another country and i am afraid that i will lose her cause she is the person i care the most in this world. and spending time with her now just hurts me and hurts me everyday more and more while the day of the move is comming and i dont know how to deal with it. i am pretty much feels like i am lossing a piece of my life.
