Halftime shows are generally not shown regular season, maybe a piece of footage. It's usually a time for analysis and highlights.

Re: the double punt. The rule is essentially the offense can kick the ball any time after snapping provided the ball has not crossed the line of scrimmage at any point that play. And the ball is only considered across the line if it's either fully across by itself, or the player carrying it has not crossed with his entire body.
If you look carefully, the punter was mostly across, and arguably entirely across the line... but the refs probably thought his back foot was still behind the line. It's a tough thing to rule while it's happening live in front of them.
About the Jon Gruden (Raiders head coach) situation: there was an investigation into the Washington Football Team which uncovered 650,000 emails from all around the league from the last 10 years or so I think. In those emails were some sent by Gruden over that period where he apparently made misogynistic, homophobic and other discriminatory comments. Ironically, the raiders have the only openly gay player on their roster right now. Gruden had signed a 10-year $100 million contact 3 years ago, so he was still owed $70 million over the next 7 years but after this scandal he has since resigned as coach.
The crazy thing is this might only be the tip of the iceberg with this email situation. We could see tons of other people taken down if the rest of those emails get out.

Yeah, racism won't fly in the NFL when almost 60% of the players are black. I kinds think the League held off just long enough for him to have the chance to resign before they had to fire him. He can maybe keep a tiny shred of dignity, and the league just had to condemn him.

I'm a Lions fan because I've lived in Michigan my whole life, and this team is cursed. Any time we see any glimmer of hope, the most insane things happen to take it away. Awful ref calls, horrible defense to blow a lead, miracle last second plays from the other team, it's all just expected at this point. We're in a rebuild year this year so I shouldn't have expected much, but they still find new ways to let us down. There's a reason that Lions fans are known for wearing paper bags on their heads to games. Wouldn't want anyone knowing you spent money to watch them.
Yup, I’m a cowboys fan and I remember the last time we faced you guys in the playoffs there was some pretty questionable calls in our favor lol contrary to public belief, the cowboys don’t often get calls in our favor but of course against Detroit we do

Also the double punt is actually legal as long as you aren't past the line of scrimmage. It was written into the rule book about 80 years ago and this is the first time in recent memory that anyone has been lucky enough to pull one off

You can actually punt the ball twice if the punt doesn't cross the line of scrimmage. The "illegal" part was that he apparently did the second punt past the line of scrimmage.
He was standing on it, from my view. That's enough to count for legality (apparently for kicking and QBs 'behind the line" is like 'out of bounds', a foot on the line counts)

I watched the replay of Jets/Falcons, I felt strange when our anthem had to be sung from the top of the stadium. It was cool, but please show some humility when we're over there.
Big 12 Football where defenses are optional or can’t be found and Offense is mandatory with a lot of touchdowns being scored! Watching Big 12 football every week can make watching the NFL boring sometimes, especially watching the Denver Broncos this year. The Dallas Cowboys have been able to score a lot of points in some of their games this year like against the Vikings and the Colts.

If you're looking for games to watch this week, in the early slate the best game should easily be Chargers vs. Ravens. Later on, Cardinals vs. Browns should be pretty good, although possibly too late for you since it starts at 4:00 eastern which I think is like 9 or 10 your time. The Dolphins and Jaguars play in London at a normal time for you, but that game will probably not be particularly good (although it may be close since both teams are similarly bad). Sadly, your Saints have their bye this week so you won't be able to check them out.

Not true. You can punt twice as long as the first punt remained behind the line of scrimmage and some part of the punter’s body also remains behind the LOS. What was illegal about that double punt was the the punter had crossed the LOS on the second punt, not the fact that he kicked it twice.

Look at the stands when the Raiders play at home in Las Vegas. More than 2/3 of the seats are empty. People in Vegas are from all over the country. They are not going suddenly change who their favorite team is. They will only go to a game if their team is playing against the Raiders. There are not enough Raider fans in Vegas to keep the team here. Their fans are coming from Oakland and other parts of CA for the games. They can't afford to come for all the home games. Which is what Las Vegas was counting on happening. We'll see if they last through the contract.

The Buccaneers currently are just a better, more talented team, than the Dolphins at this time. The Dolphins haven't been the same since Dan Marino retired in 2000. They were good in the 70s through the 90s, but they only have 2 Super Bowl wins 72 & 73.
The Chargers looked almost like they did with the Don "Air" Coryell days. The receiver pulled the defender away in an attempt to catch the ball, that's Pass Interference, against the offense. The officials blew the call they should have called it on the offense.
The Packers & Bengals kicers both shit the bed last week. Crosby did however manage to get a game winning kick in OT, after having missed 3 straight. Crosby also missed an extra point that game.
