Here is a short video of our latest trip to Montana where my husband celebrated reuniting with very special high school friends!
I'm so happy to share the wonders and splendors of this beautiful state as we drive around Bozeman, Livingston, Paradise and Emigrant Valleys. I even experience a tiny, little @jonnajinton moment with walking barefoot in the cold Yellowstone River!

Driving into Yellowstone Park was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. I cannot wait to share the experience with my son. Not the part where we encountered a bear on our hike tho! 😧
Yikes!!! 🐻 We carry bear spray when we hike! But it’s rare and so beautiful that it’s worth it!
I love hearing stories about the US, such a different experience from Australia. Yellowstone TV series has made me fall in love with Montana 🐴
I remember when I was young we went "out west", and heading out through Montana (the big sky) was probably one of the closest things to a content/heartwarming feelings I've come across in life yet. I will definitely be visiting again! Thank You for sharing, and bringing those memories back ❤

they are so blessed to be that close. o grew up military brat and have moved a lot so my oldest friendships are hardly a decade.
If you would like to do this after every trip you take...that would be great (not that you don't have better things to do or need to recoup from traveling or get your house back in order or anything haha). But oh my word, my favorite time of day is when a Jeannie video goes up. And I LOVE these travel ones!

Hi Jeanie, Michele posting. TY for posting such an AMAZING adventure. My husband and I live in a state where you can experience all 4 seasons in just one day. Your hubby's very lucky to have classmates who where so WELCOMING to other students back then. Don't know what students are like nowadays, but they sure could learn a great deal about accepting others. This video was extra special to watch... Glad you had a GREAT time and it shows. ;-)

I used to live in Montana. And I miss it everyday. It’s one of my favorite places. I used to live right off the Yellowstone river in billings Montana

Hi Jeannie! I've been following you for a few months and find your videos so relaxing. I was born in Butte, MT and went to college in Bozeman. I have since moved out of state and sometimes really miss it. It's so fun to see my home through the eyes of someone new, I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip and appreciated the beauty of the state!

Sounds like a lovely trip. The vistas are magnificent. Great photography. My husband and I stayed overnight in Kalispell, Montana, almost 50 years ago on a road trip from the Bay Area to Canada. We remember going to dinner on a perfectly nice, calm evening - it was August or September - and commenting on how high the curbs were in that town. When we came out of the restaurant after dark, it was pouring rain! The water was gushing down the streets almost up to the top of the curbs! We then understood the reason behind the height of the sidewalks! We’ll never forget it. We drove by Glacier National Park, but we didn’t have time to enter. I do remember what a beautiful state Montana is. Thank you for sharing your visit with us. Your husband is blessed to have such treasured long-lasting friendships with his school mates.

I went to a boarding school in Texas for troubled teens. It was small and we are all very similar. It doesn't have to be "our" year to go see them. We are all sooo close.

@Jeannie B. ASMR It's still going in Texas. It was and is a working farm. I had the horses in my dorms backyard. Which was heaven for me. They called me the Gypsy way back then because I was so good with even the horses that would buck. We were sponsored by the Dallas Cowboys. When I became a Cheerleader I got to meet them and the cheer team every year. It was called Happy Hill Farm. Which they still use, but after I left they added the name Central Texas Christian Academy or something like that. Good times. I didn't know it then, but I miss it so much. I dream of being back there.

Oh Jeannie, I so LOVED the pictures. They are breathtaking. I certainly would love to visit Montana. My husband and I love the mountains but the Ga, Tenn, Mountains do not compare to this! We only live an hour from the mountains but this is just beautiful. We also have Ted's Montana grill here in Georgia. There is about 11 of them around our area and near Atlanta. I also grew up in a small town about 50 miles north of Atlanta Ga. Lots of farmland and I graduated with 58 seniors. There was only 400 total in the entire high school. Everybody knew each other and I still keep in touch with many. Our town has grown sooo much since then and sadly it is not the same. Also, I was impressed with the pictures you showed of the beautiful airport. Thank you for sharing with us and for your soft soothing voice. I had been looking everyday for another of your videos. We had been missing you but figured you were probably on vacation. sending much love to you.

Omg! Loves this video! I just visited my daughter at MSU last week (maybe when you were arriving during the storm!!) and you highlighted so many great places in Bozeman (especially the Wild Crumb Bakery, the chocolatier and Ted’s Montana Grill!) … next time check out Open Range- it was fantastic ❤❤

I went to a school almost exactly like your husbands (but even smaller if you can imagine) and have many happy memories. I also have family ties to Montana so this video was almost a piece of home ❤️

@@JeannieBASMR No, unfortunately we don't get to visit them often, however we stay in touch with them. My Aunt lives in a assisted living facility and you can see the buffalo in the fields right outside with the mountains in the background..... beautiful scenery.
We just got back from Montana a week ago ourselves. I love it there, it’s beautiful. I always say that if we didn’t live in Alaska, I’d want to live in MT or WY 😊
