You give me the vibe of everyone’s favorite teacher. Peaceful and collected, and always looking for the positives in things, also understanding that it’s not always rainbows and butterflies, yet encouraging everyone to find their own happiness. I’m so glad to have stumbled across your channel!! 🥰🥰
No wonder you’re having such a hard time deciding what to do with these things, i didn’t realize they were such beautiful time stamps of history. I’d looooove to see more videos like this!
Hi Jeannie, I'm a mom of 6 little ones and love your videos to restore some peace and tranquility after a busy and often hectic day! You remind me a lot of my grandma who is no longer with us and whom I dearly miss. My youngest is 2 months old and we have found on evenings when he is particularly fussy (as a mom you may remember the dreaded early evening "witching hour"), a sure way to soothe him is swaddling him nice and snug, lowering the lights, and rocking with him while one of your videos plays. It works every time, your voice is able to relax him almost immediately. So from baby Hugh and his mama, thank you 💕
Omg! This totally warmed my heart!! Yes - remember those days, evenings, nights….snuggling them close as they’re fussy….singing low, quiet songs. I truly do hope the videos help a bit. Big hugs! 🥰♥️♥️
Hello Jeannie! As a history student, I find it wonderful that you are able to delve into many old documents and photographs in order to find out more about your ancestry! There has to always be at least one historian in the family - to protect, preserve and teach the precious past as we go on forth into the future, it is just so valuable. Thank you for your delightful chit chat every week, sending you love and and congratulations on 50k!
Dear Jeannie, this video is like watching my grandma take a look through all the old albums and stuff. In fact this never happened because my grandparents died when I was 10 but it just feels like it. This may sound weird but it's healing old wounds. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️ Greetings from Germany!
Your choice of words is always so poetic, Jeannie, and I really love that you talk so much about strength, overcoming obstacles, dealing with grief and rough times, and so on! You're a very inspiring woman whom I admire and look up to and you give me faith that I can live my life and get through anything 💖
I love that I always learn something from your videos! & I don’t just mean the history, but the sweet life lessons you have to share with us. In one of your videos you said: “I’ve never regretted being kind.” That is something I’ve since applied to my life and it’s the best advice I’ve ever heard. Thank you Jeannie ❤

I love this! Thank you! True story - down the street from where my mom and dad used to live was a lovely couple - two women police officers. My dad loved stopping in and visiting with them on his walks. They would always invite him in, even when they had parties and friends over. They became besties and get this - they dubbed him an “honorary lesbian!” He said it was his favorite title ever! 😁

Wow! I live in Puerto Vallarta! Have a good trip, Jeannie! It's getting better and better here every day, not so hot :) Thank you for your videos, I enjoy them a lot.
You are such an amazing woman seeing you speaking about how to go on after a loss made me cry and emotional ....but in the meantime it gave me a moment of gratitude to have the possibility to hear at this....thanks Jeannie B.

When both sets of my grandparents passed away, we went in to clean their houses. I found such wonderful treasures in each house. My favorite item found was a history my dad's mom wrote about each of her children's childhood. It was so neat! My dad comes from a pretty emotionally closed family so it was great to read about the love she felt for each of her 6 kids. I am making copies of the book to give to each of my sibling's for a Christmas gift this year❤
So beautiful ❤️ I lost my mother almost 9 years ago and her faith never waivered. Although the grief is extremely difficult and humbling, it gave me the opportunity to become who I was created to be🦋

Hi Jeannie! You popped up on my recommendations a while ago and I've been hooked ever since. I really love your blah blah vlogs and the caring, easygoing and nonchalant energy you give off :) Keep up the good work! 💜
I love listening to your ASMR. Your voice is very soothing, and I feel like you are a very interesting person. Thank you for opening up your life to us! 🥰❤️
Thank you for sharing this with us! I love the picture of your great grandmother, because she is smiling on and on old photographs you don't see that very often. She must have had a lovely personality and the way she keeps the baby shows her lovely heart!
Your mom's sewing kit looks just like my mom's sewing kit. Same colors. She had patters that she sewed too, and a wooden console foldable stand with the machine. She would have been 92 years old this year.
Jeanie, this was so powerful. The images were amazing. My dad collects world war memorabilia and has for over 40 years. These photos are priceless artifacts. If ever you need a good home for any of it, he would be honored to keep the stories alive. ❤
I love the tidbits of history. This beautiful potpourri was interesting and very relaxing. Talk of faith and becoming was the reminder I needed to trust the process and allow God’s plan to unfold. Grateful to have watched this this morning. It appeared at the right time for me. Thank you.

Ms. Jeannie, wow, thank you for your sweet spirit and kindness that radiates through your channel! Thank you for sharing the" BECOMING" reading --- it made me cry and sense God's love through your voice, and in your smile. Needed this today! #BrunchOneDay

Got the notification for this video this morning and have looking forward to watching it all day; now I am snuggled down in bed with two kitties at my feet and am about to watch it! I already know that I will love it;
I'm from Brazil and a production designer, I'm going crazy with all these incredible objects with so much historical value! OMG those postcards! please keep them or share them with museums ❤️

Jeannie! So great to see a video from you 💜 Atti now knows your voice, he always says "Mummy, you're watching the lady". Trying to show him that we all need a moment of self care. Only young but he's learning. Another wonderful video and hearing about your family🧡
Your videos are so calming and you're very pretty. These videos take me back to a simpler time in life and make me feel like a kid again. My mom, aunts, and grandma always used to stay up talking late and there's something about these that sounds so similar to how it all used to sound. Thank you for making these. I'm so glad I found your channel and subscribed!
I absolutely love your videos. They help me sleep. You have such a kind, calm, pleasant voice. Once I could get some kind of service after hurricane Ian I looked for you. Be blessed. 😊
This was so eerily timely. Yesterday I was just talking to two friends about needing to go through all of my family memorabilia (including WW11 things and parents and grandparents letters) while I’m able and how in the world do I know what to keep or toss. I just celebrated a 75th birthday so I better get started. I so enjoyed your stories and related to every second. The last reading was so beautiful. Your voice is so soothing and calming. Thank you.
Hi Jeannie! Great video! I just love old photos like that. I was running around town here in Texas. Traffic was crazy!! Anywho, I got 4 notifications for my You Tube and saw there was a video from you. So I bypassed the others and quickly clicked on your video when I got home. I got a cold drink, kicked my feet up, and just began listening. Relaxing and calming voice helped me unwind. Thank you kindly. 😁😴😴😴😴
Your voice and cadence and even your face remind me of my mom, who died when I was 26 years old. It was many moons ago, 1993 to be exact, but part of me forgot how lovely her voice was until this channel, so thank you 😊 ❤️
I got excited when i saw your "pto. Vallarta" mug 🤪, part of my family lives there and so i for some few years ago. I hope you'll have beyond funny vacations, we always love to receive friends from other countries. Blessings mrs. Jeannie, i really liked this blah blah blah session and i feel so glad you're feeling better. I like your vest btw 🤭
Amazing video as always! I’ve been a subscriber the past couple of months and love your content. I was born and raised right outside Los Angeles, camping often in the Sierra hills. I then moved to AK shortly after graduating high school. I no longer live in either of these places, so listening to your stories involving both those warm memories is so special for me. Thank you for providing that! Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see your channel continue to grow and thrive ✨💗
I absolutely love all these wonderful memories your finding. Really fascinating! So beautiful! But, just a thought, ask your children & family what they want to keep & the rest put up for auction? Or sell to a historic “person”. You have some really wonderful items!
Postcards were the texting of the 1890s! I have some albums from ancestors too . . . so fun to read! "We're having a dance on Saturday, hope you can come, oh, and Pa wants his saddle back." Miss Jeannie, thank you for your content. I especially loved the Tiger Beat and Seventeen magazine chat. We must be close in age. Oh and that Sears catalog. My childhood flashed before my eyes. Thank you :) Also loved your horse stories. I am wondering what you studied in college and what you hoped to "do for a living" when you were young. Sorry if you answered this already. You just have so many interests so I an m curious! Did you meet your husband in college? Thanks again, love to you and family.
That’s a lot to cover! Lol! Yes - I love that comparison of post cards to texts! Met my husband through mutual friends at a bbq. Studied bio sciences, business, and eventually winemaking (viticulture and oenology.)
Woah! 50,000 subscribers!? I swear you just had 35,000 last week. And to me, 50k is a huge milestone, but I remember the days when 10,000 meant you were making it big.
I live very close to Skagway, I think you’re correct that it’s the man on the right! How strange to be listening to asmr and to hear about so close to my little town! That was very cool
That is what i need now. I had a hard day at work and i nees to relax i was ill last week , my boyfriend is very seriously ill. Thank you so much again Jeannie ❤ Glad to hear you’re feeling better. This helped calm me whilst I wait to start a driving lesson 😅 I get so much anxiety before them. But your voice helps to calm me down Lots of love Sara xx
wow, I am speechless! My family unfortunately does not have much documentation past my grandmother (and I’m 22!) so this is absolutely incredible to me. I would love to see photos of my great/great-great grandparents.
Amazing Jeannie! I feel weird and excited and sad at the same time..those photos of Waereghem is where I grew up.. my great grand parents were there.. feels so weird to see those photos so unexpectedly.. pfieuw Thank you and your family for taking such good care of this ❤
@@JeannieBASMR I love all your old memorabilia! I could only wish to have such family items like such. I lost everything shortly after my divorce, as my storage unit with absolutely everything that mattered to me, was auctioned off sadly. I still can't believe it actually happened to me! It took 4 yrs for my daughter to forgive me & speak to me again. During which time she gave birth to my first two grandbabies & I sadly missed all of it! I've had an extremely rough life since about age 8.... It has definitely left me quite resilient nowadays. My daughter Tanner & her lil family is back in my life thankfully too. Hopefully all the awful things & incidents will only be a thing of the past now!🙏🏼🤞🏼🥰 Shockingly I still have my humor left within me, which you wouldn't normally see in someone who has experienced so many tragedies. Someday I may do a video explaining how ASMR was actually the only thing that has worked in getting me to be able to sleep at night. Pills etc has never worked for me for some reason, but ASMR worked magically!🥰 I'm not sure how I got sidetracked into blabbing about such, so I'll shush up for now lol... Hope you have a great weekend sweet friend!🤗🌞

Glad Ian had passed - hope you’re well! Thank you for this lovely message, Ania!
Thanks Jeannie, really appreciate your videos. They’re so wonderful ❤
Thank you, Amy Sue! I appreciate your lovely energy here. 🥰❤️♥️
I loved hearing these stories of your mom! Sounds like she had a bit of a wild streak lol. Thanks for another great video Jeannie 😊
It was really my dad with the wild streak and my mom just being willing to go along with him. 😁
🥰🥰🥰
This was so eerily timely. Yesterday I was just talking to two friends about needing to go through all of my family memorabilia (including WW11 things and parents and grandparents letters) while I’m able and how in the world do I know what to keep or toss. I just celebrated a 75th birthday so I better get started. I so enjoyed your stories and related to every second. The last reading was so beautiful. Your voice is so soothing and calming. Thank you.
Aw, Susan! Thank you! I really appreciate this message. And a belated happy birthday! 🎁🎂🎉
Thank you for sharing ! Very relaxing!
We are touched by you! And your videos! Thank you for taking a stand for our joy and peace!
You are so kind, Dan!
Aw, that’s a great visual picture! Thanks for sharing this! Where in Tx are you?
@@JeannieBASMR I am in Bay City, about an hour away from Houston. Small town here. Christmas around the square downtown type of city. 😁
@@PAULAnERICA I know where that is! We used to live in The Woodlands - about half hour north of IAH, off 45. :)
Jeannie I was so excited when your new video popped up! Thank you so much for making videos. I appreciate you so much! Love from NC
Thank you so much! Hope you stay dry there in NC! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Your voice and cadence and even your face remind me of my mom, who died when I was 26 years old. It was many moons ago, 1993 to be exact, but part of me forgot how lovely her voice was until this channel, so thank you 😊 ❤️
That is so kind. Thank you for sharing this with me. ♥️🥰♥️
Thank you, Sergio! Yes, we love Puerto Vallarta and the beautiful people there!!
I love this! So cool.
Thank you, Cory!
Your mom is one tough cookie!!!
Right?! 🥰
Thank you, Ally! I appreciate you sharing this. 🥰
I absolutely love all these wonderful memories your finding. Really fascinating! So beautiful! But, just a thought, ask your children & family what they want to keep & the rest put up for auction? Or sell to a historic “person”. You have some really wonderful items!
Thank you, Angela. That’s a great idea.
🥰❤️ Thank you for your kind support! I guess the next goal is 75k! 😁
There are some powerful messages around grief, loss and transformation from there.
♥️
I live very close to Skagway, I think you’re correct that it’s the man on the right! How strange to be listening to asmr and to hear about so close to my little town! That was very cool
I guess it’s the guy in the far left - to my great-grandmother’s right. Crazy, right? You should Google him - he was right in your backyard! 😁
I truly needed to hear that. The conversation piece between him and The Creator. 💜
I’m glad, Honey. Thank you for sharing this.
That is what i need now. I had a hard day at work and i nees to relax i was ill last week , my boyfriend is very seriously ill. Stressfull work and stressfull private life...i love the blah, blah, blahs. The stories are so great and i love the old picture 😍 i'm a big western country, gold rush fan.

Hugs to you, Sara! You got this, sweetie!
Awwww, another masterpiece by my dear Mom ❤
Aww, love! You’re the best! 🥰
wow, I am speechless! My family unfortunately does not have much documentation past my grandmother (and I’m 22!) so this is absolutely incredible to me. I would love to see photos of my great/great-great grandparents.
You’re stunning and I’m happy to have discovered your channel. Very relaxing
You have such kind eyes, Jeannie ❤️

Thank you and your family for taking such good care of this ❤
Oh, I’ll bet it’s weird. So many dark periods of our history. The good side is look how far it’s all come back. ❤️♥️❤️
Love the needle kit from Farmers Insurance lol!😁
Good morning, Wendy! Right? The detail in that needle kit - you don’t really see give-always like that anymore.
Pills etc has never worked for me for some reason, but ASMR worked magically!🥰
I'm not sure how I got sidetracked into blabbing about such, so I'll shush up for now lol... Hope you have a great weekend sweet friend!🤗🌞
@@ibwendybASMR Aw, honey. Thank you for sharing this. You have a lot of wisdom and compassion to share with so many! I am excited to watch you flower on YT!

@@JeannieBASMR I actually did a pretty good video today with my new pink Blue Yeti microphone!🤗 But, I'm not going to post it until probably Mon afternoon!?🤷🏼♀️ I don't know what a good time would be on a Sunday to post something & being I don't have any real followers still, I wanna make sure it's the best time possible for viewers ughh.... I think you'll even like it tooo!🤗🤞🏼
Brilliant, I love your videos
Thank you! 😘
hi Jeannie, I really appreciate your videos! They help me to improve my english (because I’m not an english native speaker). But anyway, you’re such a kind person thank you for everything 🫶🏻✨
Thank you for this! I am very proud of you for trying to learn another language! It’s not easy! Great job!
@@JeannieBASMR thank you so much ❤️
Congratulations Jeannie on 50k ! 🌺💤🌟🎉✨🎊 You will without a doubt have over 1 million ASMR subscribers.
Oh, that is so sweet of you! Thank you!
I enjoy your videos so much!
I would love it if you had your episodes on Spotify🙂
Have you considered donating stuff like the WW1 photos to a museum? It would be a great way to preserve them.
I love this idea! Thank you!!
