You can't be surprised. Bandai has the money & experience to produce high quality kits. These bootleg kits just cut corners, just copy-paste the runners using whatever cheaper materials and machinery. Obviously the Bandai one is superior. I'm waiting for Bandai to make an MG STTS-909 Rising Freedom Gundam.
youre gonna have much better chances of waiting for a third party to release a 1/100 rising freedom than have Bandai release one themselves.. let alone from an MG line. their "money & experience" means jack if their business decisions are unpredictable and stupid. im not defending straight up bootlegs here at all. but im not gonna pretend that riding on daddy bandai would do you favors at all
Great detailed review! Some xf parts look slightly larger compared to bandai's but man that water slide decal sheet and the thought of having spare parts and possible customizing is worth the shot in getting this kit.
It's scary how bootlegs can be so good nowadays, this is like 80-90% copy of the original. This is great for someone like me who just build and display the kit and don't touch it for a long time, you can barely see the difference. lol
@@wanderer1125i'm all for (good) bootleg but i wouldn't go that far lol, Bandai still got the best quality in terms of material and the snapfit. Still, that wouldn't excuse their greed with the price (and limited P-Bandai kits)
I still prefer those made by Bandai Spirits.. Japan produces quality plamos and can stand the test of time. Unlike bootlegs forged from China, who knows if they last long..
Its crazy what Bandai give to us, feels like seeing a 1080p vs 360p video... Thx you for your comparison man, i always shitting on Bandai HG by how simple the built was now i understand why so many people so obsessed with Bandai....
this video comes to my fyp so i'd like to comment as well. for Gundam, I still prefer the Bandai one, but I do tempted by original plamo from China, because IMO, design wise, it's farmore better than Gundam eventhough it's based on Gundam. they even create mg gundam that Bandai don't produce. you just need to tolerate in few things but, between the price and end result, it's still worth it.
I enjoyed this kit i mean the bandai one and when i got the mighty strike freedom I'm kinda dissapointed or maybe i just like the color blue more but the gold platings are great though ngl. And i wish there's a bootleg of the mighty also for the wing part that i messed up
In the comments of this video, there are so many Bandai fanboys, even though with the existence of bootlegs like this, especially with almost equivalent quality but not good and added with a much cheaper price. Bandai must be able to improve the quality of their original products.
"almost equivalent quality" there are only a select few of bootlegs that have the quality which are close to the original (close and not on par). Bling's HG beyond global has a higher quality compared to the Daban version. Daban has bad molding similar to the XF model in this video. I also have the Bandai version and I could say that the original is better. I do also have the newer bootleg releases like the GTO Zaku II. I ordered 3 of them, HM black tristar zaku , JMS real type Gundam Mk ii and the GTO grand daddy. All Zakus, including the High Mobility one, have problems on their upper arm sockets. Their shoulders could hardly fit properly and stress marks would appear. A friend of mine who bought the same model got a different issue: 2 of his Zakus have the same missing piece and has a loose right leg. You have to understand that the quality control for fakes are average to bad. Bootlegs are only a good alternative. Again... as an alternative.

2 weeks ago i bought the bandai kit with the price of nearly high as RG ones. 2 days later when i found out that the rumor abt rising bootleg are real, i wish it will get a bad reviews but it seems the kit is 90% identical as the og one😢😢
Fun fact: many reviewers already reviewed this bootleg kit and concludes that the only thing suck with this kit is just the stickers, while the snapfit and build quality is nearly identical to Bandai
wow, being a ds bootlegs on comments section is surely something else. 😂 sure, every kits have their own charm or being affordable but hating the origin of production is like no brainer.

@xxnike0629xx and you still refuse to build a kit again in the end LUL
The Bandai is priced around 1,800-2,000 pesos (35-40 dollars). While the bootleg is around 400 pesos (around 8 dollars) in the Philippines
For 1/4 price , you get 90% enjoyment of the original . Definitely worth it.
Imagine xfs double the price and quality i think the quality maybe equal to bandai with still less price than bandai😅

isn't this because they got the schematics for rising anyway?
