GOODSENSE forklift working condition

As a forklift driver myself I already see the guy in the video makes a few mistakes. First when you carry a pallet with stuff on it stacked to high so it limits to see what's in front of you...DRIVE BACKWARDS so you can see where you are going, second when you drive backwards look what direction you are going and there could be people walking there

How does one become a counterbalance forklift driver if they have no experience (I have a lot of experience using walk-behind straddle stacker forklifts)? My job won't train me because my seniority is too low. Should I just wait out the two years and then I asked after that?
