Corner hole punch is the best out of any front camera solution so far imo. I hate the centered hole punch on the flagships...
The A series models released so far have so many downgrades to accomadate 5g (except the a12), disapointing!!!. Im baffled why they chose to go back to a v notch for the a12, to keep the cost lower??.

Why do budget phones need 4 camera's when they're only average anyway? Surely 2/3 would do the same job & put more effort into other things.
because there are phone users that like to take pretty photos but don't wanna spend too much on a phone. A12 is probably created for that reason. sucks that they use mediatek, yes. but there are people that don't care about chipset as long as they have large storage space, big RAM and 4 cameras
@@cream-roll yeah but Google have proved 1 or 2 cameras can take great pictures, so seems overkíll on a budget device when other features could be improved a bit.

Does the A12 have audio balance? They took that off the A11 and bought that phone thinking that all Samasung phones had that option. I need that opinion because poor hearing in one of my ears.

If you feel the A31 is within your budget, then you will probably have a better experience with it. But if you're truly using your phone just for talking and texting, you may not need an A31, and you may be better off with a cheaper device, like an A21 or A10e. Boost Mobile has some pretty good deals on both those devices right now.

Wish they can make a better LCD panel for their next phones, but on a lower prices. Like, "LG" quality. Even their LG K10 fooled me with it's deep blacks, great viewing angles, and a fairly sharp display. And that phone was years ago.

The helio P35 is still a mediatek chip that was released over 2 years ago in 2018. Why are phone manufacturers STILL using a chip that is over 2 years old??
Honestly, I'd love to upgrade from my A11 to the A12 but I'm fine with the 6.4 inch display. And screen quality is a must for me so I rather keep my A11 to have a better crisp screen than the A12

My A11 went for a swim 2 days ago (accidentally dropped it while it was wrapped in my towel), it still shows life but it looks like the screen is busted. Damn.
Edit: I forgot to update this but after 2 days of the incident I tried to turn it on and it worked just fine. I am still using it now to edit this comment.

The A11 looks like its screen is a tad wider than the A12's. Is this accurate? Looking at the specs they're both 720 pixels wide.

For this low price the Xiaomi phones are better
In the $200 price range Xiaomi offers medium range phones , and this Samsung A11 and A12 are low range phones
For the price of this A12 you can buy a Redmi Note 9s which is much better in almost every aspect

I got the A11 last year brand new at Walmart, for $120. Today, I just went and bought the A12 for $120 as well ($166 with ONN A12 case). Maybe check in front of your face, before checking online..but maybe its just my town or something, it is a small Appalachian town (Check out my new horror story called THE MOUNTAIN, narrated by Master Luke on Dead Man Talkings Forest of Fear...if you like apocalyptic/ mountain/ good vs evil /Cryptid/Fantasy/Sci-Fi...and much more!!!) 😈😎😇
