I was there in person for the whole weekend. I got to sit in Paley's car on Thursday and watching these little bees from the exit of the kink was exciting. They were bump drafting through the kink on several occasions! Just magnificent racing!
The teams themselves are their own entities, imsa is just an association that hosts races. And drivers usually have to pay for their seat unless they own the car.
Not to NBCSN. They know how to ruin a race. I clicked just to double check to see if race 2 of the mx-5 series excluded Shea Adam from commentary again. And also hear the blasting commercial cut music every 5 minutes. And I can confirm race 2 is ruined by NBCSN coverage

That was an incredible race & finish.. I love the commentator's enthusiasm. He really keeps the audience interested.
Funny thing is, he's seen the race and knows the results as he's commentating the second race.

I'd love to race these guys in my track oriented Subaru STI. I'm not a professional driver, but I'd like to see if I could hang with these drivers.
Pretty sure Rollan tried to bump draft Paley to victory there at the end to stop Carter from getting the points. These guys are smart.
