even as someone who isn't a rectangle body shape (inverted triangle), i was still able to understand better ways to approach finding what styles work for me. I love this kind of short sit-down video where you explain the science behind your amazing style!

This style looks really good on you. I'm rectangle shape and growing up, everyone was wearing low rise (or hip hugger) jeans because it was in. It wasn't flattering on me because I have a long torso so my proportions were always off but I could never figure out why.

My friend calls me a skeleton and a twig, one of my insecurities is my rectangle celery stick body. This video helped although I don’t think I can try low rise (I’m just not comfortable with it, and my mom would probably not let me out of the house which is o.k.) I will have to try flared and interesting outfits that draw more attention in ways described in this video :) Thanks again :D
Girl, idk if your friends are saying that in jest but it is pretty cruel to poke fun at someone’s insecurities. Especially if it is a natural and totally normal (and even beautiful) feature you have. Maybe they don’t really mean it but I hope you know that all body types have their own beauty and that you are surrounded by positivity.
Also look into colour theory (which colour type you are, and what suits you. For example, you might be a wintertype, but I'm not sure. I'm an autumn type.
Low rise is doing the opposite thing to elongating your legs, instead it's elongating your torso and dividing up your body into two halves. Not flattering on rectangular body type at all, especially if you're petite elongated kibbe type

The issue is that from the front I'm a rectangle but from the side i look hella pregnant, that's just how my body carries weight, and that is the issue I can't style

I'm perhaps overly sensitive when it comes to these things, but the flickering made my eyes water. I had to look away. if it's a style choice and not a technical issue, people like me would appreciate it if you could find something else or give a warning.

It's funny because I'm pretty sure most models have this body type. With the exception of angel models. But many high fashion models have this body.
Rectangle is very attractive as everything is in proportion and those who are rectangles are naturally slim
That's not unattractive at all, all women are beautiful whatever shape or size.

I have a long horse too! But high waisted jeans make me look weird from the back because my butt is placed lower

Low rise emphasize my short legs because of my long torso. Im a rectangular shape than if you have a tummy low rise will not be flattering

Rectangles are lucky as they can easily wear any style of clothing
whereas in my case as I'm pear/hourglass I find it challenging to find clothes that fit right.
