Asparagus grows wild here in the ditches and sides of train tracks. Only problem there is you have to catch them at just the right time in spring, or you have to clip the mature plant (That is at LEAST 3 years of age) and come back a week to 10 days later and harvest the new shoots. Not all of them of course. You don't want to kill it off.
Asparagus leaves smells so good. We use it in chicken or meat together with coriander leaves

After 1 round of listening, this is the gist of what I understood. Feel free to correct me in case I overlook some details because I only watched it once.
Growing asparagus is easy, she says. takes 1 year of growing (2 or 3 months seedling and nursery, 9 months soil maintenance, fertilizer, weeding, etc)
Initial investment amount to Php 300,000. Seeds cost Php 40,000 per kilogram. the remainder should shoulder the cost of not getting any profit until the first harvest season, one year later after planting.
After deducting costs and services, among others, one can profit a net of Php 100,000 per hectare.
Just feel free to use a currency converter to check prices in Philippine Peso versus your currency.
By the way she is working under a cooperative so it probably has a different pricing structure versus private asparagus farming rates.
