Fury needs a knockout, otherwise Usyk will keep the pace up and eventually overwhelm him. The only other way Fury wins is if Usyk does a victory lap and arrive unprepared.

Disagree. Usyk won 9 rounds with a knockdown and got a split decision. If Usyk doesn’t get that knockdown he would have won 9 rounds 8 absolute minimum if you’re generous to fury and would have lost on the cards.
Fury basically has to win 5 rounds avoid getting dropped or embarrassed and they’ll give it to him. Usyk needs a KO or the most dominant 12 round hiding you’ve ever seen in your life.

His age, lack of commitment to the boxing life, and his lack of strong opposition has degraded what used to be sublime footwork into this really labored style that resembles Wladimir Klitschko (which makes sense with having Sugar Hill as a trainer) if Wlad was out of shape. Against Usyk, that style does not work.
I’ll be surprised if this fight happens at all, though. Fully expect a Fury pull out any week now.

I picked Usyk in the first fight and I will in the second fight. But to question whether or not Tyson Fury has a chance is silly. He is a smart complete fighter. He certainly has a chance. He still has a reach advantage, he still has a height advantage which forces Usyk to reach up, and he still has very good footwork. Usyk should be the favorite and he should win. But this isn't an open and shut case. It is all about the Fury we see in the ring because we know Usyk will be ready.

Fury 'can' win the rematch, if he uses his natural physical strengths, ie his longer reach, and bigger size.
Fury needs to fight at range, and jabs constantly, to land from distance, and if Usyk gets within range, he needs to not get into a war of counters, but instead tie him up, play dirty, and try to smother Usyk.
It won't be pretty, but he can win.

      I dieagree respectfully.
In the first half of his career, Fury never got tired, and could jab and move for 12 rounds easily.
He had to take breaks in the first Usyk fight, and could not keep moving for 12 rounds, proving he did not have the fitness to do what he once used to do.
He doesn't seem to have the same dedication tot raining he once had, and Usyk never gets out of shape, always trains between fights, so unless Fury has trained none stop since the first fight, I don't think he will be in any better shape, and certainly nowhere near as fit as he used to be.

I tipped Usyk for the win in the first fight, I knew he would land more shots on Fury than anyone else has done, and that despite not being renowned for his power, he had enough to hurt him. Usyk not only maintains a constant intense work rate that Fury struggled keep up with, but is extremely agile and clever with it. He is quick enough to beat Fury to the punch and is dangerous on the counter. Fury had a couple of good rounds where he landed more power punches than Usyk (rounds 5 & 6) when he appeared to be turning things in his favour, but that was because Usyk stayed in front of him when he landed those big uppercuts. As soon as Usyk started using the ring again, it was business as usual. Insee nothing Fury can do that he didn’t already try in the first fight. I think Usyk wins the rematch

The best version of Fury was the Fury who showed up for the Wilder 2 rematch. That Fury fight's anyone throughout any time. Problem with Fury is the lifestyle he has led both in camp and out of camp. Fury is known for drinking during camp and partying even harder out of it. He has natural talent and abilities but that will only take you so far and more importantly for so long. His life style has caught up to him. You can't put beer away and sausage away every single night. The way he would balloon up out of camp, the drugs etc. He's 35 now I believe, there is a young 35 year old, someone like a Mayweather, or Hopkins, or a Usyk ( who has taken care of himself) then there's an old 35. Fury is an older 35. I don't think he win's the rematch. But you never know, this loss may have sparked something in him to live clean and train clean and hard, but the damage is already done imo.

Possibly retires before he needs to actually defend his belt again. However, being a man of his word and Tyson pushing for this, he strikes me as the type of dude who is now training even harder than he did the first time to really teach Tyson the real lesson about being a champion. I think Usyk will come out in close to the best shape we have ever seen him, looking to write his name in the history book indefinitely. By beating Fury as second time, no one can dare second guess the truth of his legacy and that. I think would be when he will retire. Fury knows he will have to be perfect and fit,,,,, but Uzyk has 12 rounds of experience of the long reach and his knowledge and speed will be Fury's biggest hurdle to overcome.... and unless he KO's Uzyk ... which he could possibly do.... but I see fury losing either by ko or points..... on the other hand...... it could be a Pac Man vs Oscar fight... were Uzyk makes Fury quit from the speed and pressure.

fury will not outbox usyk for 12 rounds even on his best day, usyk understands how Fury fights a lot better than in the first fight, fury only option is to go for a KO in order to win, and personally i think fury starts to train and staying disciplined now will be to little to late, i think fury can win a rematch but i think there it will be harder than the first fight, fury relies a lot on his awkward style to throw peapol off and mask his intent and make him hard to read, now that usyk has fought him, usyk will be abel to read fury a lot better in the Rematch, one training camp is not enough, i think usyk wins with fury having some success here and there and if he does commit for the KO i think usyk will wether the storm and then Go on to KO fury, but i do think that fury best chance to win is to go for a KO but agains a guy like usyk who has a great chin and is rather durable that will be diffcult as well, usyk proved that he could take Furys best shoots, and whole they did to damange they did not drop him or relly stop usyk, at most it forced him to back off for a bit but then he was back so it did not do even close to enought lasting damage on usyk

I was a big Usyk fan before that, he was one of my favorite fighters, but that was so sus and sketch that he immediately lost my respect.

    • @importantvideos4529
      @importantvideos4529 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

The reason no one is discussing it is because it's pure B.S. It's been debunked already. The reason this seems suspicious to you is you clearly know nothing about Usyk despite claiming to be a fan of his previously. You claim Usyk was "Getting wrecked" then suddenly came out in round 8 like a rocket?
#1 - No, Usyk objectively was NOT "Getting wrecked". He gave up a few rounds to Fury, but was NOT getting wrecked as you claim. If you truly believe that, then for the love of god, please go crack open a book on how to score a fight.
#2 - Every knows Usyks style of taking of a round or 2 in order to conserve energy for the championship rounds, which is EXACTLY what he was doing here as he always does. He did the exact same thing against AJ, when in round 9 everyone who is ignorant of boxing like you, claimed AJ was whipping up on him and winning, only for Usyk to come out in round 10 and re-establish dominance. They claim "AJ just stopped what was working" which is such a ridiculous notion to think AJ just "stopped"? Why, because he didn't want to win? No, he "Stopped" because Usyk hit the gas again now that his fuel tank was full again, and AJ couldn't do a darn thing about it. This is EXACTLY what Usyk did against Fury, and it's rather sad you needed this explained to you.
Add to this the context that Usyk was handily winning the first 3 rounds. By round 4, Fury began to figure out what Usyk was doing, and by round 5 Fury had a new gameplan to counter. So Usyk had to go a few rounds re-downloading Fury's changes, and build a new gameplan of his own to counter Furys counter. Which is exactly what he did. Usyk being Usyk, he took this time to refuel himself and back off as well, so he both downloaded Furys new counter, figured him out, and refueled his tank all in one go and by round 8 he switched back on.
Don't believe me? Go watch the changes in Usyks offense by round 8. It's quite different from the earlier rounds, because Usyk figured out Fury. Or are you so ignorant that you actually believe a champion level boxer would keep attacking with the same vigor when their opponent has a strong counter? No... Hang back, go more defensive, conserve energy, and figure out how you're going to win. That's what Usyk did, once figured out, he hit the gas and pretty much TKO'd Fury. Hope you learned something today.
Oh, and the crucifix? Usyk has always been deeply religious and has kissed, or touched it in other matches before this one. But nice try with the insane conspiracy theory.

Everything is checked by opposite teams, refs and judges. There was no smelling salts, no inhaler.
Just a plain crucifix that Usyk has had with him for religious purposes.
Nothing suspicious happened and it was a fair fight. Don’t cope and if you are a Fury dan don’t feed in delusion and support the guy to get better.
Fans like you are the reason fighters become delusional. Happened to Wilder and Chisora and it can happen to Fury.
